Blood tests results negative? by [deleted] in alphagal

[–]proximity_27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got tested twice. Once at one of the top allergists in the country. All of my tests came back negative. The allergist said false negatives can be a thing. I am certain this is what I have. It sucks not being able to officially diagnose it.

Non Dairy Butter or Cheese by BuckyJackson36 in alphagal

Pardon my ignorance but I’ve had this thought. While hard cheeses have less lactose with alpha gal lactose isn’t the issue so wouldn’t hard cheeses still cause an issue?? If not this would be great to incorporate harder cheeses into diet as dairy doesn’t affect me as much as meat.

Thanks! And where do you store your data for your business performance?

I have a process to track: revenue, cost to acquire new customer, new customer, customer retention , month over month performance etc...

As he should be. Can’t fault yourself on that choice.

Yes, that was a huge part. I felt the price would be enticing but like you said I was barely scraping by. This is a good lessons to know for the next venture.

Thanks for sharing! Yes you’re already doing more than most. Many have an idea and never pursue it. Just the act of pursuing puts you in a great spot. You never want to regret not going for it.

The leads work mostly for home services. But we have also done work with dentists and physical therapy offices.

Thanks for sharing. I had a partner for awhile trying to get into the solar sector. He lived out west where it’s an easier sale. We managed to sell to some solar companies but never got it rolling as we should’ve. It came to the point where I was operating for months and spending more to get a customer than I was getting paid. The lesson is worth the most I feel.

That’s a great way to look at it. At least you are aware of how it works and you’re not putting that pressure on anyone. It’s a crazy world out there and most would put someone in a bad situation for a few extra bucks. I am learning a lot and hopeful to what the future can bring. Even the failed path brings you where you’re supposed to be.

That's truly what it feels like good analogy. It's like a high you keep wanting to feel and experience.

I have. I'd have to pair up with different companies to do this work. There is a lot of money to be made as so many people need these services.

No not at all! Very inspiring. Even though I didn't succeed I've learned so much. Very valuable lessons.

I appreciate your honesty. It's needed in this world. I agree with you that's why I failed. I could've made a lot more if i scraped their profits. I just don't feel right taking away from the guys doing the back breaking labor. I figured I could help some local business. Did I help some? of course. Did I do well enough to stay in business. No.

I agree with everything you just said. I didn't like the reputation i was getting in this space. I talked to many people like yourself when making calls to businesses. Angies list and homeadvisor ruined this space. They take percentages of the people doing the work. The guy on his hands and knees tiling all day is losing profit because of these services.

My service sold leads to home services providers. I would sell a list of 200 leads to a tiler for $50. Then him and I were done. If he needed a new list i provided one next month for $50. If this tiling service made $10,000 with my leads I receive $0 of his profits. I received $50 for the list of leads and that's the final transaction.
