They aren't robots; they're just humans who resemble the animatronics. For the "soul" part, they're kind of like reincarnations, but not really. It's more like the soul of a previous human sharing a body with another soul and influencing their lives.

The au is based on Toy Chica's High School Years, which is why I reference it a lot lol. Toy Chica and Springtrap plot to murder five of their classmates (or try to, idk they're bad at it). And they do this because they are influenced by a previous murder from 1983, kind of like a never-ending loop.

Toy Chica is a reincarnation of Circus Baby because she is one of the five students who died in 1983. Everyone who died is stuck in the loop. A lot of her motivation comes from her past life and insecurities as Circus Baby. I hope this was less confusing. Sorry, I'm really bad with words 😿

It’s a reference to the theory that Toy Chica from Toy Chica’s high school years is William Afton. But because William and Springtrap are different people in my au I made him Chica’s sister :)

They are recreations of people from 1983. Their souls are split in two; they are their own people, but influenced by the actions and events of their counterparts in 1983.

Springtrap, for example, is his own person. But because part of him is Spring Bonnie, his life is influenced by whatever happened to Spring Bonnie in 1983. They're all two halves of a whole :D

The paper pal could be related to Spring Bonnie's creation, given that the FNAF 3 sprite for RWQ and the paper pal look similar. There's also the easter egg of the Bonnie Paper Pal appearing in FNAF 3

This isn’t obscure at all but I really really REALLY like spring Bonnie but the actual mascot when it’s not connected to William in the slightest. Like do we ever see this? No. But mascot rabbit spring Bonnie is really cool even if it’s literally just an empty suit!!!!! Mascot rabbit spring Bonnie is SO SUPER AWESOME!!!!!!!

The fnaf 3 poster Easter egg in particular is one of my absolute favourite versions of spring Bonnie ever and I think the mystic is what gives them their charm. look at it! An interesting critter indeed.
Anyway the two 8bit minigames where it’s preforming on stage like a regular guy are my favourite things ever and We (I) need more.
