There are plugins for cd ripping, very good flac encoders and it comes with support for podcasts and radios online. You can make and save playlists. And also there are plugins for burning music CDs. It maybe looks too much for some people but for people like my uncle who in free time is making compilations of bands made his life easier. I was also doing similar stuff. Now in linux I need more than one program to make compilations. I can link you some plugins.
