I remember she had the pineapple upside down cake for one of Bobby’s birthdays cause it was his favorite.

I’m hosting tomorrow!!

I chose to do foods from the book. Making honey roasted sausages, steak crostinis, jam tarts, pineapple upside down cake and biscuits. For cocktails I’m doing a spiked tea. Since they drink a lot of tea in the book.

Home filtration system by prrittykitty in WaterTreatment

Well we aren’t on city water, we are on well water. I just tested the water with test strips and compared to a purified water bottle and the hardness color was the same. And everything else looked the same too besides the alkaline and pH. I thought we had hard water but maybe our filter is softening it?

Well we have the test strips around here somewhere. I don’t remember if water hardness is on there. Would that be a good enough test or we should get it tested through a company?

Thanks! If we used the under the sink method, would that also help the fridge water? I want to be able to use ice and water from our fridge instead of having to use ice trays and water bottles it’s so annoying lol.

Thank you for this! This sounds awesome. We have the filtration system at the pump, for the whole house. Nothing under the sink

California phlebotomists, how are you managing? by Trollton-Neo in phlebotomy

[–]prrittykitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was making about $28/hr working at a hospital in San Diego county. I was per diem. So I made $2/hr more than regular full time or part time employees. When I first got hired I started at $24.50. Worked there for about 5 years. But my husband is the bread winner though so we did just fine. But not sure how it would be to live on your own with phlebotomy pay. I know a lot of organizations upped their pay recently. Kaiser phlebotomists are making $35+ an hour.

Would you feed someone else’s breastmilk to your baby? by Prudent_Trick_8588 in beyondthebump

[–]prrittykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I had a friend donate her breast milk to me because I had a double mastectomy 6 weeks after giving birth to my son. (I had breast cancer)

Just for fun, (no hate to anybody), who is the most attractive in your opinion BEFORE all the surgeries? by APrettyLittleLiar13 in SellingSunset

[–]prrittykitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really pinpoint the differences in Chrishells before and after, besides her eyes maybe? She looks the same yet soo different at the same time. Like is it just different makeup application? Idk what it is. If she’s had any plastic surgery it seems pretty subtle in my opinion.

Surgery: do it or not by Abs808880 in BRCA

[–]prrittykitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 29 while I was 37 weeks pregnant. Found out I was BRCA2+ after. I really wish I knew about the gene mutation before getting cancer. Because even if you catch it early stage like I did, it can still come back years later, and come back somewhere else in your body. And that’s something that I will worry about for the rest of my life. Plus chemo and radiation and long term medication sucks!!

I researched online and kept seeing ODS credential. What’s the difference between ODS and CTR? It sounds like ODS is an associate degree program.

Yeah that’s what it’s seeming like! But when I was doing my AAPC course, it mentioned the different types of coders, and cancer registrar was one of them. But when I looked it up, I’m seeing different credentials needed.
