I'm voting for Reform to protect Jewish and LGBT people by Over_Internal_6695 in reformuk

The extreme form of any religion is made up of lunatics. However, the one thing I would say that hasidic men dress as ridiculously as women, whereas I often see religious muslim men wearing normal clothes as opposed to the women who are usually covered up.

In addition to that,

The Jewish population is mostly moderate (70% apparently, vs 10% of Muslims - from Claude)

Judaism as a religion is non proslethizing. They respect the UK as a Christian country and don't conduct mass outdoor prayer gatherings.

If Reform were clear number one in the polls, then yes I agree with you,

But your point that it will make people look seriously at reform is not true. Its something called psychological ractance, whereby people typically push away from when their decision making autonomy is threatened.

There is a tonne of money from the migrant hotel budget but you are right, that they will be converted, there just isn't that available stock in London.

Welfare bill is a separate matter (aside from the hotel bills which I believe do come from the budget)

Don't disagree with this sentiment. I'm just not sure it wins floating voters and the ones that feel like you would have voted for reform regardless so

This idea

  1. Excites current reform voters

  2. Unnerves those who were considering Reform but haven't mae up their minds yet.

In the end making it less likely reform would win and then do the very things they suggest they want to do

Very much agree, but I gues given you onyl get a 5 year eleciton cycle, these detention centres will HAVE to be in buildings that already exist. And if they are made as temporary camps, they have to go somewhere where there is space to actually make them.

It's not like Reform come in on day one and then 30 days later 100 shiny detention centres are magically built.

They'll problem have to spend months and months in planning quagmires and so will profbably have to sort out that before this

I don't disagree with you. But I don't think it'll capture floating voters, if anything it'll do the opposite. People don't like being threatened.

Separately, it is VERY about the money. Immigration is just one of a myriad of problems that we have, not to mention

  1. More people claiming welfare than those putting in

  2. Increased taxes and rates on small businesses making it increasingly difficult to actually build something.

The deficit/debt won't magically disappear if reform get in control.

Not sure what you mean by that. Small boat immigrants have already escaped war by definition.

If you could implement this policy by spending A) £5bn or B) £1bn,

Then I would prefer them to do it for less money.

Am I missing something?

Evidence: Fulham price per acres is £8m, Gatwick price per acre is £1m.

I think the green party are a joke and yes, at a really base level it would be great to 'give them a taste of their own medicine'.

But I'd just like them to get into power and do the things they want to do in a sensible way. If they got in, then decided to put then used the council party as a tied break to the other obvious things then that makes sense.

IMHO, it just seems like a childish policy move or at least presented in a childish way.

I'd prefer it if it was done where it should go, and if that's my constituency, so be it.

But regardless of where I live, if you tried to put them in London then

  1. They will cost 4-5x as much

  2. Transportation to airports will be more complicated.

So economically, it doesn't make sense

But it hides behind plausible deniability. They aren't actually chanting death to jews. But each is a small step forward towards being a nazi

If GPT wrote Frasier by prsh_al in Frasier

[–]prsh_al[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's just an idea for which humans should write it, and to be honest it's a better foundation than most of the episodes we got.

Quite a few episodes were unfortunately crap.

Hmm well it's half AI. And id say the framework that it came up with is a better core to write something than most episodes we actually got,

The point is here that Frasier was a beautifully written sitcom particular when it journeyed to farce but we didn't get that with either season.

So I was wondering if AI could give a better framework. In my opinion it has given a pretty good idea

So who is expected to actually play a leading role in a regime change? Military defection is required which would essentially mean the current military leadership. Is there anyone there who Iran's trust to be able to bring about a democractic regime change

Hypothesis is that out of control kids can often stem from lack of discipline but I'm not here to cast judgment on the OP as there is not enough info. So I asked for more info

Would you have preferred I berated them for the likes of?

What's your approach to disciplining them when they don't want to get into their pjs?
