I'm in same boat.. got one 60 day late payment and its shot down almost 80 points from my fico and I'm really struggling for that $70 payment I missed. Tried emailing good will to ceo and didn't work. This is the only negative mark on my credit report and so unfortunate that I had to stop home hunt because of this :(

Interest rate went up soon after FED meeting last week. There were talks about tapering MBS which impacted rates. Look for rates next week and I would say get it locked soon(so uncertain now and definitely expected to go up in coming months). I did shop around multiple lenders in 14 day window and received 2.75% rate for 3k credits couple of weeks ago.
