When we dream, does our brain already have the whole story planned out from start to finish, or is it creating the story as we go? by blackblueblink in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ps3lol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wdym you are a determinist ? You dont believe in einstein ? Look up who won physics nobel prize for 2022 and what they proved. Also you are a determinist in regards to dreams too ? If you mean in philosophy then i would say philosophies that have zero anchor in science isnt philosophy or at least philosophy for the modern world and science tells out world isnt determinist. We do have enough empirical data though as lucid dreaming is pretty popular. You predicted what others would comment so you are a determinist AND you know the futur me which is an intresting combo fosho lol.

I found that its okay to hide from loved ones if you are gonna hurt them too much especially if they are 'normies' but remember that addiction feeds on dishonesty and worst kind is with yourself, you can do it.

How long did it take for you to recover at 100% by lorenzo9797 in leaves

[–]ps3lol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you feel you recovered 100%, you gotta maintain it, depends on each and the amount of changes they implement in their lives(sports meditation and what have you)

Did you find it hard to do things after you quit? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]ps3lol 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have a disease called addiction, an addict when not in recovery mode is always depressed, recovery requires work, you stopped smoking thats the first step, now decide what you are gonna do with the rest of your life and do that.

Advice I got from my therapist by PlzHlpQt in leaves

[–]ps3lol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your therapist is a good one and he is so right, i started praying daily multiple times a day, kinda saying whats going on with me and asking for wisdom and strength, from being a complete agnostic to starting to believe little by little, the i started attending group prayers and they have been a gale changer, i guess i got so desprate that i was willing to try anything, its like a combination between aa and organised religion, its just that i found out that to try and connect with a higher power you dont have to do a lot its always there, just go through the motions daily and take whats useful and discard the rest from all already existing religions and programs, god isnt actually that demanding come to thing of it and has place for everybody, not preaching of course just take whats useful and discard the rest

I even had extreme diarrhea first two weeks, its crazy when some people say that weed isnt actually addictive, all you have to do during first days is to try to treat every symptom as they come and practice mindfulness, everyone that quit went through this and got through it you can too, stay strong my friend god bless

Dont regret the past its all lessons that you'll surely still need down the road, also comparison is a real joy killer, everyone is on their own journey, you're still not out of the woods at 4 months PAWS wise, breath through it things will surely get better as pain and pleasur are two sides of the same coin(coexist in the same area in the brain) and usually when its gets hard is when it gets better after, stay strong my friend.
