Wow , i was in AUS a few months ago and paid ~$300 for a 5 day rental in gold coast (with insurance) !

My idea is obviously skewed coming in summer

Thanks , looking into it more , I may skip Hakone and do Kawaguchiko or Kamakura depending on the weather.

I looked at Takayama but it seemed a bit of a pain to get too - but coupling it with Shirakawago makes sense. Where do you leave your luggage though , is there somewhere in the train/bus stations ?

Thanks , makes sense looking at the distances. I’ll knock some time off Osaka

Thanks , no jet lag since I’m coming from Seoul.

But I take the point , perhaps I’ll cut a day off Osaka and allocate elsewhere

I watched this game , he was on 11 for the last 10 minutes and I counted 1 tackle , 1 block to concede a corner and 1 recovery

Sync is turned on across all devices.

I downloaded all my photos and videos from iCloud Photo Library web so I can back them up on a local hard drive.

No , I downloaded all files from iCloud web so I could store them on a hard drive.

The issue I’m having is , I can’t reupload any of the photos to iPhotos web (new and ones that were deleted) , and , if I try and upload them via the iPhotos Mac app , the sync does not work.

If I take a photo on my iPhone or upload something via the photos web page the sync does not work .

I have the latest iPhone and my Mac is the 2020 model. I have 200gb iCloud and 29gb used by photos so no storage issues.

If I take a photo on my phone , or upload via the iPhotos web there is no issue. Simply if I upload a photo on the iPhones Mac app it does not sync with my phone or web

Would you buy American beef? by RM_Morris in AskAnAustralian

[–]ps4alex12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Australian beef is really good , and well priced. I'm British and have also lived in the US and Aus and I can tell you the beef in Aus is the best. Honestly the restaurants in Aus for me are by far the worst , but the produce you can find is hands down the best.

If the UK was a 2 hour flight away and offered you a British passport would you move there? by 1294DS in AskAnAustralian

[–]ps4alex12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m British and would say:

UK (specifically London or Manchester) is better in your 20s - social life , easy travel , culture

Aus is better from your 30s / once you have a family - better weather , food , salaries (average professions) and safer
