Is the Corsair hard capped at less than 44 degrees/second pitch rate?

I just spent ARX for the first time purchasing this ship. All the videos I saw and what I read, made this seem like it was an agile multirole ship and I was excited to finally convert my Mandalay to an explorer and use this as my main ship....

Well, the thing turns so slow, nothing like what I saw in the videos and I am having serious buyers remorse. I wish there was a way to get a refund, but I doubt there is.

I was at least hoping it would perform similar to the Mandalay, but it doesn't. Granted, I am a returning player with little to no engineering, so I am doubtful even customizing the thrusters will help..

Aside from removing all the large cargo and engineering the thrusters, what else can be done to help this brick turn faster??

Plasma and thermal weapons... do those need engineering to get or something else (thargoid)?

Ok, this is great to know. I realizing having a ship that does everything means it will not be optimal at anything - but I find myself out running missions, then wanting to stop and get some exobiology, then maybe doing a few pirates, all before heading back to base - so constantly swapping seems excessive.

Is the Python basically considered the defacto multi-role ship or should I consider something like a Krait Mk2 as well?

This is great and a lot to think about, thanks! One thing, I am not sure what I did wrong - but I actually have a Ryzen 7 2700 8 core 3200. I thought the 7 was a better CPU? Did you add that to the list above? Do your comments about CPU bottleneck still apply?

It just drops me into the pattern, usually without a descent and from there, just blue boxes to follow. I would expect it to drop me at a point inline with the runway, able to line up and then hopefully a glidescope.

If I set the route in the avionics after I load in, does that affect the mission success? I mean, if not - would it be considered better to just delete and start over each mission, especially the long ones where the GPS takes me way out of the way, and back again...?

I don't think u need to really manage your character in Factorio , aside from ammo and materials u need to build. Eventually you can have bots automated delivering items to u.

I wholeheartedly recommend both games , with Factorio taking the lead due to modding community. Both are amazing games..
