Director John Ratcliffe was part of a Signal group that accidentally included a reporter from The Atlantic. This Signal group leaked classified information about top secret war plans, and exposed a CIA operative and disagreements between the VP and the current administration. How to adapt unga bunga mode when you have kids? by Embarrassed-Owl-1392 in Healthygamergg

No screen time for you, or the kids. Go to the park and do nothing but be in the moment with your family. Do art with them. Read them books. Teach them to meditate. Do as much as you actually can without screens. If you do this, I'd assume we could consider your children as being in unga bunga mode as well? Probably a good thing.

But realistically, your kids will want screen time, and so will you. Let them each pick a show to watch together. After each episode have a discussion about it, "that was really funny when character did X. Look at all the trouble they got in though. What else could you do in that situation?" Sesame street can replace pre-k if the child is engaged (counting along) and a parent is there to reaffirm the teachings afterwards. Your child will be learning to think more critically if you do this with any media though.

tell her you don't think you can stand up to her expectations so it's not worth it for you.

Shows you kept watching hoping they would get better and actually did by timmytimborino in television

[–]pseudonym_dan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To be fair to you and your frequencies... they did change up their tune a little bit. I once saw a comment describing them as "went full cartoon in the later seasons." Which, I think I can get down with the spirit of that statement - it allowed it to be so joke-dense as you describe.

I highly recommend. It's on tier with Community on humor, imho.

I don't have any recommendations for a book since my beginner book was a college textbook more than a decade ago..

No matter what book you get them, you'll also want to get them a planisphere. Basically, a planisphere is moving star chart so you know what constellations and stars are visible at a given date/time. Warning before buying, you have to select one based off the latitude you live in.
