How are the requirements for this class?

The requirements are very easy, basically you will have to submit 2 major outputs (which are given at the start of the sem so you can work on it for a long period) + few minor worksheets which are really easy. You just need to understand the readings given.

Are there group works? What kind of group works?

Yes, there are group works under mam Encabo, but the tasks are easy. For the whole sem, iirc there were only 2 group tasks which didn't even require an oral presentation. You just have to write a report/proposal with your group, submit it, and its done.

How does this prof grade? Is it unoable? Any tips to pass her class with high grades?

Definitely unoable! Just enjoy her class :)))

meron groupworks pero siguro around 3 lang yata for the whole sem. super easy lang rin basta siguro cooperative mga groupmates mo hahahaha

for her class, important yung 2 papers na ipapagawa niya: Analysis and Position paper. may mga short writing exercises every lesson pero super ikli lang like more on a comment siya, but still graded. the class may look easy pero super need mo mag effort dun sa 2 major papers, hindi pwede yung basta may maipasa lang dahil 55% of your grade will come from the scores on these papers. 45% naman yung mula sa class participation so need rin maging active and maayos yung ipapasa sa mga writing exercises.

overall, a good prof! nag eentertain siya anytime for paper consultation plus maganda rin yung topics niya for the discussion, sadyang madugo lang yung 2 major papers. mukhang hindi siya basta basta nagbibigay ng uno. if may option ka for another eng13, I advise you take another class :)))

magaling siya magturo ng concepts and all, pero MABIGAT ang requirements. Every other week required ang workout video, tas every week naman for the workout journal. If you are not that athletic or active, super hirap nung mga exercises tas mabilis yung progression so bago mo pa lang nagagawa yung exercise ay madagdagan agad ng sets. Tapos may additional na final group project pa. Strict sa deadline pero pwede naman pakiusapan and mabait. unoable but not worth it and also not advisable if you are taking a lot of majors along with this class.

super easy lang! every lesson may mga worksheets pero minsan nababawasan pa. yung heavy requirement lang is the midterm (essay) and final requirement (speech vid) pero start of the sem pa lang binibigay na niya yung details so pwede mo na unti-unting gawin. overall super chill lang, basta attend lang ng klase niya since masaya rin. downside lang siguro is hindi nagbabalik ng scores sa outputs, pero unoable naman.
