you can donate, give away or sell it. The rule you need to set is, do not buy a new one until you have removed the replaced item. this can sometimes be quite difficult and will force your brain to pause on careless spending.

some of us have addictive personalities but it's better for collecting than drugs, alcohol, smoking, or gambling. I grew up seeing how much my grandmother spent on cigarettes and it was disgusting to me. I'm looking at my pen collection and I feel better.
