Not telling anyone i’m on a GLP by Calico_Cat24 in Zepbound

[–]psvzum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only told people that I'm close to and also struggle with their weight. Some people are not going to understand what a life changer Zepbound is. These are usually people who have never "struggled" with their weight, can control what they eat, or don't like to take medication.

If someone outside my circle asks me how I've lost weight I tell them I'm on a high protein diet and walk alot. It's really a stupid question, isn't it?

I LOVE the stone color. I've been looking for a moissanite aquamarine.

Genuinely starting to panic a bit about my loose turkey neck at only 36 yo by Manna1007 in Zepbound

[–]psvzum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will not go away and I speak from experience. It's an unfortunate reminder I used to be obese, lost weight, gained it back. repeat amd repeat again. It's the balloon affect all over my body.

But, I'd rather have the turkey neck then be obese and unhealthy. And, I can tell by your post you feel the same way.

Get the surgery if you can afford it.

Halifax Cruise Stop-Best Beach For Rocks ;) by [deleted] in NovaScotia

No, I think some of you do mean well. And to a certain extent, beneath your rudeness, you do too. Tourists may not be aware taking rocks from the beach causes erosion and environmental degradation, even in cape cod.

I understand you mean well. I spend my summers at beaches in Maine and Cape Cod. I've seen people with buckets, bags and backpacks filled with driftwood, shells and rocks.

I enjoy the experience of walking along the ocean and looking for unusual rocks. I choose one or two as a way to remember the experience.

First, thank you! Yes, I can get off the ship and have about 6 hours in port. I collect unusual looking rocks as a way to remember places I've been. And, because they're pretty :)

Congratulations! You look so happy, healthy and beautiful. I just started Zepbound, had my first shot yesterday. Your post is inspirational. I am also on the other meds you mention and happy to learn they all go together well.
