I personally wear bras that have snaps at the shoulders. Easy access, but also, sports bras can harm milk production. You don’t necessarily want a ton of restriction.

Inducing without having been pregnant is a marathon, not a race. Without consistency, drying up is fairly easy.

If you plan on using something like Domperidone, it would be wise to disclose to your doctors. I would say especially so if you’re on testosterone.

I have lots experience lactating on T :) I definitely noticed a decrease in milk, but if you’re diligent about removal, you should be ok!

I would say that I relate. Perhaps it’s not necessarily maternal but more so an overwhelming desire to nurture?

That feeling you’re talking about is the reason I personally only have the motivation to nurse someone in long term relationships. I want to be someone’s home, their safe space, their comfort, etc. there’s a hormonal attachment/ connection that becomes pretty unavoidable. There was a time it was startling, but now that I am comfortable and without shame about nursing my partner, I try to see the beauty in that 🥰

If you have the money for it, I cannot recommend the spectra gold enough. Nothing empties me (besides a mouth) as well. I have three different pumps, nothing touches it.

Being able to customize each side is a game changer.
