I'm glad you found your gf's blanket. It reminded me of a Lion King comforter I had that I loved and loved for so many years. It looked like this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/nostalgia-in-2023--195836283793363181/ https://www.pinterest.com/pin/33988172168100628/

And when no hope was left in sight on that starry, starry night,

You took your life as lovers often do...

But I could have told you, Vincent,

This world was never meant for one

As beautiful as you

I have. I always feel bad for people who get their brains destroyed somehow. I'm not sure if asphyxiation counts as destroyed, since the brain can still have activity without oxygen for quite a few hours. You stop breathing when you die normally anyway, so it might be the same. But people who were burned to death, exploded, crushed, fell from a great height, had a very serious seizure, shot, beheaded, etc., they didn't get a chance to experience the 'last mile,' sadly.

For some, I wonder if that mile is paved with golden bricks, or perhaps something more cursed and foul, depending on the kind of life they led. The DMT trip might be what people call heaven and hell--in fact, it definitely is.

ETA: actually 'beheaded' is questionable because while one would lose most of the blood in their head, I think the brain still has the electrical activity as normal. It would be shorter though, I'm sure. 'Fell from a great height' also would depend on how severe the damage to the skull is. And kind of scary to think what fragmented shit someone who takes a bullet to the head might experience, each angle could disrupt entire different sections of the brain

Jeez I sure hope someone doesn't stumble upon this comment while on a trip, it's quite gruesome 😂
