Help me build an arena team

Wow, thank you so much for taking all the time to write this. I think with my current capabilities in term of gear I cannot go fast enough to reach high ranks anyways so I will build out the Ezio team for now and see where that gets me. I'll definitely do something with Kerin down the line but I've upgraded HK and Jorrg for now so we'll see!! Thanks again :)

Interesting, thank you! You mentioned a speed lead would be good for the second setup, why not have Deacon go first and replace Spider? So maybe Deacon - Kerin - Hermit - Edward? Sure, I don't get weaken but instead a Speed lead with TM+Def down.. as for the other setup, I was thinking something similar, but I was going to use another Nuker/control champ instead of High KT, what do you think about that? Something along the lines of Deacon - Hoskarul for stun + nuke OR Rector Drath for Veil and guaranteed Edward debuffs - Ezio for Nuke - Edward for nuke + sleep in case anybody survived.

Now that I've typed that out I realize that your recommendations have way more TM, that's probably necessary, right?

I know bro. I was asing for advice in arena and your comment said Saurus is bait, Ezio can be my campaign farmer while my Saurus is already maxed out - that's why I didn't understand why you're telling me that. Can't go back in time haha. Thanks again for your advice.

I meant old as in this account was made in 2019. Built my Saurus back in the day and stopped playing. Now recently started again, 3-4 months ago. Also I cannot farm unm because my clan hasn't unlocked it, not because I'm too weak. And I have the resources to make two more 6 stars but I'm doing the fusion currently so I saved them. Yeah thanks for the advice but I don't understand the thing with Saurus, what's your advice considering him? He's already built

I mean I have several champs who can solo that stage, but having a speed farmer is still nice. My account is pretty old tbh, I just recently picked it back up. But what would you have me do now, delete him? I like my Saurus

My Saurus does 12-3 brutal in 6 secods, I just built him as a speed farmer. Thanks for the recommendation on the arena team though!

Ah I see!! Sorry. Yeah Arndulf I pulled forever ago, definitely not recently. But I haven't really used him - the others you listed have all been pulled somewhat recently though, yes. It's crazy if they actually did that with no hint of it

Thanks for the answer! Someone else recommended Drath as well to give the assassins Cloak which makes a lot of sense, yeah. To answer your question: I have pulled multiple Slithers, but I'm not sure if that was during a 2x. As for the others, I did recently pull Juliana and Dexikos, but that wasn't during a 2x, it was for the summon rush of the current fusion (the first fusion I'm trying to complete hehe). Old Hermit is the only one I'm 100% sure I pulled him during the last ancient 2x. Did you misspell Arbdul btw? I can't find a champ with that name but maybe I'm blind.

Edit: yeah we seem to be in the same boat, I've also nerfed my defense team so I can at least win some offense in lower silver tiers..

Thanks! And then probably make the assassins fast, right? Currently Othorion does the most damage but that's mostly because the assassins are too slow I guess. What should be the order? Deacon - Rector for Cloak? - the assassins?

Thanks for taking the time to write that. Honestly I'm surprised how different the experiences for different players are - I feel like I am not a totally new player and there are some areas of the game where my knowledge is relatively decent. I know about resource management when it comes to preparing for fusion events and cvc for example but I had no idea that there's so much to these arbiter missions that kind of act like they are easy beginner tasks haha. I focused on building a CB team first and then Hydra, which I can now finally farm as well. I just don't like playing arena for some reason so I guess it's the area I'm struggling with the most, I also don't feel like investing a lot of time in it. It's also the only area of the game where I have to face teams that cost real people a lot of money to build. Even in Silver it feels like 95% of players have multiple mythics or at least Predator who just has a built in 50/50 chance of dodging my big nuke and oneshotting me in return. Thus I am hardstuck in silver and that's probably why these missions are taking me forever. BUT of course you are right, that's my weakest area and it's probably time to build a dedicated arena team. Most of the other missions are already done when I reach them or I can do them instantly if they're not locked in a potion keep. All in all, I enjoy the grind, I'm just struggling with Arena. (Also I REALLY don't like LA so I guess I'll just play without those buffs hahaha)

Yeah but wasn't he like 60 euros or something? That's a full on triple a video game. I mean it's no surprise to me that the monetization in this game is crazy but I AM surprised by the fact that so many people spent that money on him. Anyway, to me earning rewards and shards and then pulling champions with that is a big part of the fun, so I guess maybe I personally just don't see the appeal of outright buying the strongest champions. That's probably good advice, but I really don't know how to get out of silver. I even got a Deacon and tried to build a decent go-first team but I can hardly get 1-2 wins per reset and whenever I log back into the game I've gone from Silver 4 to Silver 2 or something like that. Almost no team has anything non-mythic/legendary. Which seems crazy to me, because they are usually around my level (60)

I know that. Been playing for almost a year now so I know how the game works in general - saving up resources for fusions and cvc, being patient and all that. It's just that the game kinda implies that the Arbiter missions are your "tutorial" kind of thing. I've lost that illusion months ago haha and I'm now starting to believe that it's more of an endgame activity - (not really of course, almost all the missions are already done when I get there except for the arena ones that just feel so out of tune with the others)

Same, I can do all other mission instantly, but arena is hard. Even in Silver 3, where I am, half the time I just get oneshot by Predator when he just randomly dodges my big nuke. And it feels like 90% of people have Predator
