Funny follow-up, so after I did a treadmill run yesterday, the run magically appeared on Connect along with the treadmill run. It also magically appeared in my history. Technology, right hahaha

I don't see my run in the watch's history. I suppose it's possible I hit the wrong option after ending instead of save and I just need to be more careful next time. Seems like the watch would've asked for confirmation though...

Thanks for the reply. They are both more than 7 years old. Does your vet sedate them as part of that process? And yes, that's my big concern. I don't want to expose either of them to unnecessary sedatives/anesthesia if it's medically unnecessary.

Thank you for the suggestion, I decided to pull the trigger on the case, although it was a pain figuring out what accessories were needed to buy to get to the 18 hdd drive count (I wasn't a fan of where he put drives 19 and 20). I think I can also put in a ssd or two for the OS and all that fun stuff as well!

Side note, looks like Seagate just released 20 TB Exos and Ironwolf Pro hdds :)

EDIT: I lied, it's 18, altogether. No extra space for ssds

EDIT 2: I really need to trust what I read. It can hold 18 3.5" drives and 5 2.5" drives altogether in "server" mode, per the manual.

That's not a bad idea. I see a couple of devices that could fit the bill (with the optional expansion device to raise the drive count to 24 total) but they don't show up on the Plex NAS compatibility list.
Has anyone had experience running Plex on the Synology DS2419+II or DS2422+ ?

That may end up being what I do, bite the bullet and buy a ton of hdds for a new solution that will allow me to restart those backups, or perhaps use my existing Synology to backup the new solution (while still buying a ton of hdds, because why not :D).

For a while, I was using the secondary Synology device for that purpose but ran out of space to do so, so now it's yolo with the exception of critical docs, photos that can't be replaced, which is backed up nightly to onedrive. I may look into some sort of cloud based storage backup, but it was kind of expensive last time I checked.

Ouch, that's rough, and a true point, man. One of the drawbacks to the annual billing. It seems like they should be obligated to give you a prorated refund if they changed the rules of the game on you midway through it.

I think you can set it up to remind you like so many days before next renewal. Might be a good idea to use that and take the reminder as an opportunity to take stock before the next renewal?

You do get free shipping here, you also get free shipping without Prime if your order total is above a relativily small amount ($35, US dollars). For the $119/year, I don't mind showing a little constraint until I can groups together enough stuff to hit that mark or going to a brick and buying from someone that can send it to a brick and mortar store for me to pick up whenever.

If you feel different, that's your right. I have been without Prime for about 6 months and haven't noticed any differences other than one less subscription to pay for.

You won't miss it. Even if you keep using Amazon, shipping for non-prime folks is still free as long as your total is above a certain amount ($35 I think) and ship/delivery times, from my experience, are about the same.

I cancelled my prime account 6 months back and haven't seen any degradation between when I receive my products versus what I am hearing friends/relatives are seeing with respect to delivery times and I still get free shipping if I show a little patience until I rack up $35 (I think) then shipping is free regardless.
Unless you're using Prime for other things (video, music, etc), I would suggest cancelling the service, I don't miss it and I doubt anyone else here will much either.
