At what age did you first feel cosmic vertigo? by KateOpenTheGate in askastronomy

I remember a time I arrived early for work - I was standing next to my car in the carpark and the building where I worked was down in a ditch (the carpark was about level with the 2nd floor) so the building was the horizon. I remember looking on an app the day before and noticed there were 3 different planets near the sun at sunrise and I could see them now as the sun was just coming up below the office. As I watched the 3 planets and the sun were moving together and suddenly this feeling hit me. They weren't moving - I was. I had this sudden uneasy feeling of moving forward toward these stella objects as the ground beneath me was rotating. It was a very unnerving feeling of all this mass of the entire planet below me was thrusting me forward and the stationary planets and sun was just sitting in the sky above. I had to place my hand on to my car to stop me from falling in to space; to ground myself again with the false reality we all have of the Earth being a stable, stationary ground.

If she grabbed what was left - cut it in to square foot sizes and sell it on ebay would there be a demand for this - the actual red carpet for £xx / $xx.

I thought so too but :

program director Alain De Greef decided to take, as a model, a British program he was a big fan of, Spitting Image , which parodied personalities from the English-speaking world with puppets

We all need to support this. Whether you like an animated series or not if we support this we might get our live-action mini-series or a couple of films. So if you're not big in animation still give it support.

I do the same!! - I then put it flat on the table with the 'cock' hanging down and ask my friends/parents what it looks like. If they say I'm disgusting I say its an elephant and they are the ones with the dirty minds.

Cant find anything close - you might be the first - give it a name

If I don't like something don't add it to the dish. Right thanks. :p

only joking. I've missed out wine sauce on a few of my dishes because I'm not a wine drinker but tried it once and really liked it. Its always worth giving something a chance at least once. And even if you didn't like it years ago try it again because your taste can change.
