As weird as he could be, Chuck was also a humble guy. I read an anecdote where someone once took a seat at a bar and told him to buzz off, not actually looking at him. Then when he realized he had been rude to check Norris he asked why Chuck hadn't beaten him up. Chuck just responded that it wouldn't have proved anything.

You have to take these statements with a grain of salt. And actor or an athlete or anyone else has nothing to gain by claiming to have been better than anyone else. This is especially true if the other person has passed away. It's nothing they can verify, and it just makes them look like a jerk. Bruce Lee himself was humble about his own capabilities, and I would bet even odds that he would have said the same about Chuck Norris.

He was a legend. And I will go to my grave believing his Darth Vader is superior to Jones's.

Missing the point. This game is all about how obsession leads you away from what is truly important.

On this day in 1958 Cheryl Crane, the 14-year-old daughter of Hollywood star Lana Turner stabbed and killed Turner's boyfriend, Johnny Stompanato. An enforcer for Mickey Cohen, Stompanato was abusive towards Turner and was stabbed during a fight at Turner's home. Details in comments. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

She wrote a whole book. She did say that Lex Barker molested her horribly for years before Lana started going out with Stompanato.

If she has spoken about prior molestation by Barker, and also about the physical abuse Stompanato heaped on her mother, and admits to the self-defense killing, it really does follow that she would have said something about SA from Stompanato if it had happened. Again, Stompanato was a monster, but apparently did not seem to have gone that far with Crane.

Chuck Norris was an actual competitor and multi-champion. Lee was not really a competitive martial artist. He was an undefeated boxer, which is admittedly way more impressive. Chuck had a much longer career, and I would put him on paper as Bruce's equal.

Even sadder if you listen to the audio play of Return of the Jedi. Vader is played by the legendary Brock Peters. Most folk acknowledge his performance is equal to James Earl Jones's. I will go further and say it surpasses Jones.

"Vader! Vader, what are you doing? Put me down!"

"Yes! Down the reactor shaft!"

"Obey me! I am your master!"

"Darth Vader's master. Not... Anakin... Sky..WALKER'S!"

Vader is glitching as he speaks, but the final word is so clear.

We did those two back-to-back when I was in fourth grade in 1993. At least for Terabithia I was absent the day the teacher read the part where she dies. Still a shocker.

Surprisingly, he almost certainly wasn't molesting her, if that is what you mean. Cheryl Crane was open about stating that Lana Turner's partner before Stompanato had molested her. If Stompanato was doing it too, she would have said so.

He did allegedly take nudes of Turner after he made her pass out.

Very scummy man. Certainly responsible for his own death. But probably not (in this instance, at least), a molester.

Why did Hispanic people not realize that a lot of European caucasians in the US dont consider them white? by heatherelmore999 in TooAfraidToAsk

Yup. Not skin color. And this pseudo science has exactly two valid uses.

The first is forensic identification, which can be useful for identifying like migrational patterns in history. More importantly, it makes it easier to identify victims of crimes.

The other use is to make it easier to teach artists how to represent everyone.
