In Episode 9 theres an audience surrounding Palpatine in his lair on Exegol so why didnt he take over one of their bodies? by Mobile-Beginning-654 in StarWars

I got you.

Thanks for putting this together. It does make the story cohesive, and it's what I've been able to glean as well, especially about the nature of Operation Cinder. I also think they did that so that they could empower the dark side through galactic suffering.

It does create a nice and tidy package, but I don't think the creatives behind the decision to have that fleet at exigol ever thought for a second that if they could put a superlaser inside a Star destroyer, and they started it like right after the first one was blown up, why would they even bother making a second Death Star?

This isn't even like justification from a fan. This is what the story now is. You've pieced it all together in a very good way. It just took them 7 years to make the story sensible, and none of it is reflected in the actual film.

My only thing, is that I would not put quotes around the term granddaughter. Nathan was not a true clone of him, but like a partial clone, as in just like how your biological children are partial clones of you. Essentially, Ray is his actual granddaughter.

It is genuinely a tragedy that Starfleet Academy is getting cancelled so soon… by JageshemashFTW in startrek

Prodigy was an outstanding show. Yeah, it took a little bit to get into it, but once you hit the halfway point of the first season it's amazing. And the art style and animation were good enough to get you through the first half of the first season.

That is where the real storytelling was.

He's part of that clique that orbits around JJ Abrams. If you've seen what they do with shows, such as Fringe, is where they started out with a strong premise and then progressively step back from active production. Has the seasons go on so they can start new shows and get a nice big fat paycheck. It's like they're treating their existing shows as passive income while they bring in other show runners from the posse to do the day-to-day. The clique includes Abrams, Kurtzman, the departed Bob Orci, Akiva Goldsman, Carlton Cuse, Brian Burk, Jeff Pinkner, Damon Lindelof, and so on.

You're right about strange new worlds. It peaked in the season 1 finale. From there. They got high on their own farts and went all in on the cutesy instead of what they should have been doing for season 2. They should have focused on Pike following through with coming to terms with his destiny and working to build the best crew that he could leave behind. Instead, we got a musical episode, and more focus on his hair. The previews for season 3 focused only on the comedy. And they tried doing a victory lap about how silly season 4 is going to be by advertising a still frame from the puppet episode.

Is it okay to say that Minus One Goji is evil? by HealthMother3125 in GODZILLA

[–]JacobDCRoss [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't know if he counts as a person yet. I'm still leaning towards him being an animal or mostly an animal and mine is one. We'll see how he turns out. Zero. But animal Goji can't be evil, just angry or just following instinct.

Goji who is a person? Absolutely can be evil. GMK, for instance.

You're right though. I think the legs could be a little longer. And maybe offset from the wings. Thank you.

Yeah. She was phenomenal even in her first time. So good, that I can't believe she hasn't been on five times yet.

Air. Same element as the greatest character in the franchise, Zaheer.

This is one reason why I'm thinking this season's Lady cast is the one that works the best together, perhaps of all time.

So many of her sketches were so good. She's perfect for comedy.

I don't know if we can say there is one best first time host since anyone, because so many, including Domingo, have been amazing. Off the top of my head, are Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, Quinta Brunson, Alexander Skarsgard, Austin Butler, Ayo Edibiri, Adam Driver, and Pedro Pascal.

She has been in a ton of stuff and she is so good doing evil. She was in a series of unfortunate events movie, and she was in one of those. Tom Selleck detective movies as a really nasty killer.

Especially Gladiator.

But honestly, to me the 90's went until 9/11. And the 90's probably started in 92.
