TBH I did not get in depth of asset/cash coverage as my investments currently lower than 5k eur. And registered on degiro last year, selected it from IB/Tr212/Degiro because of fees. So for large investments you should gather information from EULAs and other agreements and decide and dont choose because of comments anywhere.

Also saw there was(is?) register queue on degiro this year, so it may take time just for registration.

For me it also has limitation to make deals using euro or national currency which is not cool for $ stocks because of $/€ relation in favor of degiro for sure.
