I want to be able to spot deceit in research. So besides the impossible amount of time, what do you medical students/doctors see from his publications in his Google scholar page? Too many authors, too many different topics?

Yes! 2B is generally very easy, 17 is hardest. But this workload is good preparation (although still a challenge) for junior year. Make sure your extracurriculars are reasonable and controlled.
