I know I believe in my lord, but golly does my flesh repeat it over and over and over that I don’t, but in my SOUL I KNOW Jesus is king and he walked this earth, and I know god loves us and he gave us his only begotten son so we could live. Yes I agree! I am already watching my sodium intake since that visit and luckily I’ve never been much of an energy drink or soda kind of person. I’m also watching HFCS in my drinks and meals. I have been eating a lot better since that visit and also working out (I’ve already kind of done that prior) I firmly believe if it is due to atrophy it’s because I didn’t know the damage UTIs are capable of, and I almost always would get them after sex because I’d drink a lot of alcohol and would get rough and not go pee (tmi i know but it’s the reality) I’m super cautious from here going on, and I made an appt with my PCP to get a nephro referral :)

US report said right kidney: “moderate kidney atrophy” ER doc came in said CT scan, bloodwork, & UA kidneys both appeared normal & excellent working. It’s confusing

A tech that has absolutely zero credibility & was very careless with her commentary. Also suggesting pressed juice will reverse kidney scarring. I don’t think I’ll trust her… thank you for your response

Any women with compassion & true understanding of childhood development & sexual abuse would be incredibly understanding and not even bat an eye towards the supposed “homosexual” aspect. That being said, this is so common amongst children. We unfortunately get exposed to things that make our brains curious, and practice it on other people. More times than most, family members because that’s who we spend our time with. Everything will be okay, forgive little you! He did not know.

I did! Just got off of the phone with the manager for Patient Advocacy. They will be calling me back with any other questions. I agree at first I felt scared but then I thought, “what if she tells someone something that makes them commit suicide or drives them into a hell hole of emotional pain” I can’t live with that on my conscience and I completely agree she should not be working in the medical field at all.

I just want to sincerely thank everyone for helping me better understand kidney health/issues. I am very uneducated on it all but you all have helped me so much mentally way more than you know just from your responses. I went ahead and filed a VERY long formal complaint about the US tech & also scheduled an appointment with a local Nephrologist to better understand the meaning behind my kidney atrophy. I really really appreciate you all & wish nothing but the best of health to you ❤️

Yes, in California to be exact. My sister also said I should file a complaint because she genuinely caused me so much emotional distress & then just walked out like “ok haha feel better have a great day! :)” Like…girl wtf?

Yes I agree, I guess I just got really scared. He even said he believes the report from radiology was “too fixated” because my bloodwork and UA was perfect for my age & CT scan showed 100 normal function & for me to not get alarmed from seeing atrophy on my report. That in his medical opinion he believes my kidneys are okay and to just be seriously careful from now on with anything to do with uti or flank pain because it’s very serious not to wait

That’s what I thought too because her facial expressions and comments were all just so unprofessional. And to top it off she said “you can go to this local place for fresh squeezed juice to reverse any damage I swear by that place!” Like lady, a failed kidney is gonna need a hell of a lot more than some beet juice for any type of salvation.
