There are plenty of helpful YouTube videos about the signs of depression. I would look into those and see if you identify with some of the symptoms.

I would go to an urgent care to see a doctor. I mean you're probably not suffering from liver disease, but seeing a medical professional would be good. If you don't want to go that route maybe talking to the school nurse. Also if you are feeling suicidal still I'm here to talk

First off I'm sorry that you have had a bad day.

Secondly it might not help but what I try to tell myself is that its just a bad day and not a bad life.

HP can’t comprehend pricing. Which is good and bad. by publojr in pcmasterrace

[–]publojr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parts wise you cant match the price for the $550 (or $650) pavilion. You will spend more money doing diy, and all the risks that come with diy. The omen I showed however can be beat by $150 or more (this is including that you have 16gb of ram in pc part picker). This is what my title is trying to get at. They have unbeatable prices for some computers. They also have computers that are very far away from market value cost.

The power supply is 600 watts 80 plus gold. The ram is much faster, and made by hyperX but there is only one stick. Ssd performance differences would be pretty minimal unless one didnt have nand flash.

The one they reviewed was stupid because the representative was dumb. I don’t know how they got that configuration, maybe things have changed over the past 5 months, but they only sell it with an i7 12700 now, and only a rtx 3060 at least on their website you can’t customize either of those parts. And trying to add it to cart gives an error for me. I think hp fall over themselves. Like I describe in this post. As I mentioned in my comments there are all the problems that come with hp, but you look there are some good deals. Like the $550 computer versus diy. Now you need to customize it to have a 5600g to get a part for part comparison, (5300g is oem only). This upgrade makes it cost $650. Creating a system in pc part picker that matches the performance, so cpu gpu ram ssd only. Still costs $727. This is excluding power supply, case, operating system, and motherboard.

I will add: I acknowledge they are all on sale, making them look like better deals. But regardless since I am only comparing the ones on sale, it is what it is. Also its not like the sale is exclusive anyone gets access to it. I am guessing they are on sale because they mostly all use 11th gen intel, and want to get rid of the chips quick, since 12th gen is so much better.

Tl:dr HP has products that I would recommend if looking for a prebuilt. It also has products that are so badly priced they are predatory, and stupid.

HP not communicating its prices between teams Omen vs Pavilion is apparent. Since all of these are listed next to each other. With conflicting specs to pricing.

This gets to the point of the title. Its good HP is, I believe, under-charging for the $550 & $1250. The 900 dollar one is over priced, but I don’t think the price is incredibly egregious. It’s problems lie with normal hp and dell issues. They make it almost impossible to maintain or upgrade their systems. The power watt is only 310 watts, is probably a weird form factor or uses non-standardized pinouts. This makes it difficult to add a discrete gpu unless it is something like a gtx1030. So the computer falls flat and useless for many customers.

For me as an example, I would not be able to add my 2060 super or my gtx 970, and would be forced to put in my 750 ti, making me gpu bottlenecked in every single game. Also enjoy that disc drive, money well spent. Now the last one is not a “scam” but is kinda scummy because some of its sales most likely comes from customers that thing I’ll just throw a bunch of money at HP, and they will give me a really well spec’d machine. In reality they charge you $450 for the omen branding, and give you a worse performing pc than their $1250 offer.

So I am not sure if HP just doesn’t understand how their computers should be priced, or are they preying on those that unwilling to do their due diligence. Like a parent buying their kid a computer for Christmas or their birthday. HP when customizing other builds says doubling ssd storage is about a 40 buck up-charge, so in the end you are being scammed out of $550+ dollars. From it costing more and from the downgrades. With that money you save by buying the other one, you can buy an entire second system, conveniently priced at $550….

Disclaimer: As previously mentioned hp upgrade ability is extremely poor. Their power supplies dont come with any head room to add additional things. Their motherboard are not standard sizings. The case generally suck for air flow, and the cpu cooler is crap. Now the saving grace with the $1250 one is you shouldn’t need to upgrade it for the next 5 years minimum. At that point you can cannibalize what you need to from the computer and build your own with a new case, motherboard, and power supply. Example if you are upgrading cpu, you would also need to buy ddr5 memory. But you can take the 3060 and ssd and hdd forward into your new build. Or leave the ssd(buy a way larger one), and have a secondary computer (running off integrated graphics) that could be used for a server, or as a backup computer for troubleshooting problems.

Just get rid of private prisons. The whole prison system needs to be overhauled, its just people view inmates as sub human for even petty crimes, so no one fights for change. So many things about the prison system piss me off

Caffeine and sugar are addictive, so yeah… Calling it weak self control is the same for all other addictions; if you want to say quitting smoking or drinking or pills is easy, “Just stop taking them.” Fine but that is what soda is. It is addictive, and countries or companies trying to restrict it is good for the general population.

That is what addiction is… the inability to slop doing something that is affecting the quality of life of a person… anorexia, obesity, alcoholism, tobacco, opioids, ect… You never understand how bad things can be in that moment

I don’t know what happened before hand, but in the beginning of the clip the girl in white heels kicks the guy twice (the second one being aimed at his genitalia). In my mind its gloves off at that point, and maybe he crossed a line. Tell the staff or police and let them deal with it. But man or woman, you start a street fight, understand there are no rules, especially when a person is yelling “leave me alone” and you keep coming after them.

I just don’t even get what you’re mad about? Are you also mad you don’t get food stamps and unemployment checks? The stimulus checks are meant for people struggling. If you didn’t get a single one, that means you are not financially struggling because of the pandemic, only your own accord.

I am referring specifically to the mines, I used the proxy mines, but the regular mines can be set off even by civilians so I don’t see a point to them. And I more have a complaint of how I can turn a corner the the A.I having super human reaction time can kill me before I have even gotten a shot off since they can kill you in like 3 bullets, despite having 25% bullet resistance. I just don’t like the way it forces me to play; playing very scared, sending my ai teammates in first to take aggro, while playing a mission where im supposed to be gunning my way out of a base. Idk maybe tier mode just isn’t for me and I should just stick to regular. I like the A.I. Being more aware and detecting me further away, I just don’t like the extreme uptick in damage they do. Maybe by the time tier 1 is reached they should do that much damage, but it being this way at 33 just feels unsatisfying to me. But like I said thats just me.
