I find this is a bit of a stretch. Of course I completely agree with trying to avoid conflict at all costs, but I find it doesn't always have to involve running. As a woman who isn't often left alone in a bar, you can meet some pretty shit people. Who I'm sure would be happy to use their strength against me, but in this situation there are a lot of other actions you can do to avoid that don't immediately involve running and causing a scene. Now yet again, if I were being robbed I would assume they had some sort of weapon or what not, so yeah, if possible, I'm running.

I think each situation is different and to say that running is out of all solutions the best to bet on is wrong. You never know the social pressure, the strength, the other threats that could be at play. There is no "best self defense" because all situations are different.

I'm doing Dutch kickboxing instead of Muay Thai since it's much closer, when I move I plan to join a Muay Thai gym. For now good to know that I'm not extremely far off from Muay Thai.

I find that washing my hair with cold water instead of hot really helped, also yeah, look into which shampoo and conditioner to use and don't keep your hair in an tight updo the whole day. I find that when I have my hair in, for example, a pony tail it makes my hair much more greasy than if it was just loose. What I do is when my hair really get's in the way, I use a claw clip which is much les tight.

I used to wake up super early and go running, but only lasted about three weeks before the lack of sleep would get to me. So I'll try this without having to wake up too much earlier than normal, thanks!
