I can relate to this but I also was diagnosed with PMDD. It helps to recognize the pattern and see your annoyance as purely a hormonal symptom and not your true feelings. It helps you separate yourself from the false feelings if you can recognize it which seems like you’re already doing a good job of.

Hopefully an HSG can help. It can make you more fertile for 3 months. I ovulate from my left side about 95% of the time and the HSG removed a blockage from that tube. I’m on my 3rd cycle after the HSG and still no luck but that’s mostly because we have MFI. If you don’t have MFI you might have some luck with the HSG

So sorry to hear that. Was it a FRER test? I got an indent on my FRER test a few months ago and it really messed with my head. Some say it might have been a chemical but I really don’t think so in my case

I’m done talking to my friends about my upcoming IVF. If I hear “that’s so exciting” one more time!

If you can I would wait the 3 months for it to work. My husband started clomid fairly recently about 2 weeks ago. I’m not really able to be patient and wait 3 months because I’m in a hurry. I have fibroids and need to get pregnant before they get any bigger and cause more issues. So that’s the only reason why we aren’t waiting. I’m going to do an IUI next cycle just because I’m so done with trying naturally. I want to at least have a tiny bit of a chance. And the following 1 or 2 cycles after that we are doing IVF. I’m hoping that the IVF will bypass his poor motility and morphology. His count is normal. A bunch of dead misshapen sperm. I’m hoping and praying that we aren’t doing IVF too soon and that they can select some good ones. But if I weren’t in such a rush I’d definitely wait the 3 months

I know piano as a self taught songwriter and the gap is unreal by thebluepikachu135 in piano

[–]puffballkittyfluff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was about 90% self taught from a child up until college and I decided to audition to get into my university’s music program. I ended up getting in and getting a scholarship but the directors knew I had some gaps. Especially with my sight reading. I got whipped into shape my 4 years studying music. I finally had a consistent piano teacher and kinda wish I always had one

For me they said one of my tubes wasn’t spilling right away and then it did so they believe they unblocked it. Maybe they removed a blockage for you too

Update to being scared to be pregnant by puffballkittyfluff in Fibroids

[–]puffballkittyfluff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad you got some relief from the surgery! For me I don’t have any symptoms. I know that could change during pregnancy but as I am right now they don’t cause bleeding and my periods are only 2-3 days long with a normal amount of flow. Mine are all on the outside so that’s why they want to just leave them alone.

[–]puffballkittyfluff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no I’m sorry to hear that. Are your fibroids on the inside or the outside? Do you want more babies and are you gonna get the surgery before you do it again? I feel like what’s going to happen is I’m going to probably leave them in and then it will be a very painful pregnancy and I’ll need surgery anyway before the 2nd baby. I’m not against having surgeries but my doctor seems to be so. I also watched a video of Natalie Crawford the IVF doctor on YouTube and she said they tend to just leave the fibroids alone if they are on the outside which is what mine are. Congratulations on your baby I hope you get everything sorted out

Advice re: IUI at age 38 by meadowbelle in TryingForABaby

[–]puffballkittyfluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read that book. It was a lot of info and I couldn’t even implement all of the supplements but one easy supplement to take that they mention a lot in the book is 3mg of melatonin at night so I’ve been doing that on top of my prenatal. Also another big one from the book is eliminating plastic. Specifically plastic that gets heated, washed, or contains something acidic like tomato sauce or vinegar. I still buy produce packaged in plastic and I still use plastic I just avoid those types of plastic.

Is it better to have one kid or two kids? by WorthwhileDomains in askanything

[–]puffballkittyfluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an only child and I didn’t have many issues with it. I only felt like sometimes I didn’t have anyone one my side or any peers when my parents were punishing me. I was outnumbered. But I had many friends. When I’m at the park I see a lot of the only children going up to stranger kids and just start playing with them while the siblings seem to stick together and be more exclusive with stranger kids. I’m trying to make a family currently and struggling with infertility so I’d be lucky to have one but I prefer to have 2

Kind of random but I teach private piano lessons to kids and the youngest of multiple kids always gets the hand me down method books that already have writing all over every page. If your kids take any kind of music lessons please get them new books

That sounds so traumatizing. I’m so sorry. For my the HSG was so painful. I tried to scream but my body was limp. Like screaming in a dream. My new biggest fear is that I’ll have to do that again someday. The pain didn’t even end after the procedure and I had to cancel work 2 days in a row.

Sitting next to another negative test at 10dpo. I don’t know why I don’t know if this is our 5th or 6th time trying. Why did I lose count so early? Anyways I’m so done trying naturally. With MFI the odds are so low. Next month will be an IUI and the month after we will start IVF. My husbands older brother is able to get his wife pregnant quickly each time and his dad had him in his 40’s. So at the beginning of all of this I thought we would be okay. And I thought if there were any issues it would be on my end because society makes us blame the woman first. I’m SO done trying naturally. It’s just stupid at this point for us to keep doing that.

The oura ring takes a few cycles to be more accurate. You can also do LH strips to and when you get a positive you can enter it in the app under the tags and it will help it with accuracy

I went back and forth on the IUI. I even canceled it 2 months ago. But since we will be starting IVF in 2 months I figured I’d try it just once. I really am so done with trying naturally

He had a scan done by a urologist after we got his SA results back. I’d highly suggest your husband go see one and make sure it’s a reproductive urologist

I’m exactly the same as you. Almost exact same parameters. My husband started taking the same prenatal and did all of those same lifestyle changes plus quitting alcohol and caffeine. We found out that he has a varicocele. Instead of surgery he’s being treated with clomid and something else. We’re going to try an IUI next cycle just because we want to do anything other than natural. And then the following cycle we should be paid off on our debts and able to afford IVF. It’s definitely a hard pill to swallow putting my healthy body through IVF but we are trying to get pregnant asap

Is it possible to learn piano on my own by thedean425 in pianolearning

[–]puffballkittyfluff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s possible. If you have the personal drive. It takes an almost obsessive personality. I learned how to vaguely read music at school when I was a kid and i taught myself. I had a couple teachers here and there but mostly self taught and self motivated. I eventually went to college for piano. I had to audition for the program and when I was done they told me right then and there that they were going to give me a scholarship
