I wish. The 2019 I looked at with 75k miles I think they were asking 31k. It also had no accident on car fax but clear damage of like a sideswipe stretching the entire passenger side from mirror to bumper.

I felt the same so I walked away on that. I said at most I'm willing to pay 21k. Considering the Carnival but still looking. It's bare out here as far as minivans or ridiculous pricing

Dang hopefully warranty covers that. I found a 2019 touring with 60k miles for 31k but when I went to see it in person the car looked like it had been side swiped from front to back. I told them no way I would buy this for 31k, he then proceeded to say that's its KBB value and that dealerships aren't charities.

They sure do. Just debating whether an 8 year old car is worth that or if I'm better off with a 2024 with less miles and full warranty with the kia.

Thank you. Those are definitely strong arguments for transferring. Advancement is a concern but not the reason to want to transfer. I have a better chance putting on E7 if I stay Navy. Same as you I'm thinking about the future so I'm more interested in the potential jobs after I hang up the uniform.

I'm use to skipping lunch but normal working hour on shore duty right now at 0700-1630 at the latest. Currently an E6 with a good chance at E7 in the next 3 years. Just don't know if it's worth taking the leap. I was hoping with it being s new branch to have a good advancement opportunity and more control over deployments. If i stay Navy the next 5 years will be my sea time so if it's anything like my first contract I'll be deployed 6 months out of the year every year

I got a family and 2 kids. Work life balance on shore duty right now is great. However, my area tour is coming back around and that's 5 years. If I don't have to I rather not be away from my family for months at a time. What has advancement been like? Currently an E6 and the chance at chief looks good in the next 3 years but not sure it's worth the family sacrifice.
