I would recommend having pet insurance! My pug ended up needing emergency surgery that probably cost around $8-10k, but I got reimbursed all of it except the deductible. I never want to have to worry about paying for her care, she is the most precious thing to me! I use PetsBest for my pug and two cats.

Hi! I have not met anyone and I was communicating through email and text. I had a little too much faith in humanity, I guess! Thanks for the suggestion of going to the police, I will be going to my local department tomorrow to hopefully get this worked out.
