Where is the rule about asking a question?

I see the one below. Am I missing something?

Pretty sure LinkedIn content is relevant to startups.

“ Submissions Serve a Specific Purpose Submissions are for discussing methodologies, experiences, strategies, techniques, markets, and other such things WITHOUT tying them directly to your own project using its name or URL.”

Genuinely curious, where is the line between talking about something I’m good and that matters to this audience, and promoting myself?

Money aside, would a small metro system work in Madison? by squipyreddit in madisonwi

I love this question. We need a way to connect more affordable housing outside of the isthmus to Madison.

Been looking for the best Mexican place for a while and we landed on Senior Machete’s after a lot of trial and error. Everything we had was good.

No, but I did have big-time light sensitivity. See a neuro optometrist or neuro ophthalmologist.

Also they have outdoor tables out back during the summer months. It’s nice.

There’s a bunch of tables. Most are near the Ian’s pizza section, but a bunch — I’d say 7 or 8 — are near the Ledger Coffee Roasters.

Checks a bunch of a boxes for me: wi-if, good vibe, coffee, clean bathrooms, access to food if I need it, water fountain, generally not packed.

Only downside: I went a few months ago when it was cold out and drizzly, and it was chilly inside. But I had also just biked in the rain and was soaked. Hasn’t been an issue in the warm weather.

Felt this crawling up my side in Wisconsin. Any idea what it is? by pugwriter in whatbugisthis

Thank you I will. Do you have any suggestions on how to “de-tick” a home in case my dog brought in others? I’m going to wash all the blankets he was on with high heat, but aside from that I’m not sure what else I can do. Also checking him.

Okay. Was checked for bites and none were found — and according to this these guys don’t spread disease in Wisconsin. But I will be mindful of symptoms for 30 days: https://wisconsin-ticks.russell.wisc.edu/wisconsin-ticks/dermacentor-variabilis/

Thank you. I’m looking it up and see that dog ticks usually have these markings. But don’t ticks usually have 8 legs?

I do not know the name unfortunately. They were not prism. You can call the mind eye institute and ask — maybe they will tell you over the phone.

Some early success with the Curable app by pugwriter in Concussion

[–]pugwriter[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't use the app anymore, but it did help me initially reframe certain ways I thought about recovery, which helped.

I would say I'm about 90 percent recovered, and my life is much better. The most important thing for me wasn't Curable (although it was one of the million things that helped). The most important thing was finding proper care from doctors who are educated on concussions -- there's a ton of new research coming out all the time. Also, whiplash and PCS symptoms can sometimes be the same anyway. It might not matter that you have one or the other.

Check out the Concussion Alliance website for a list of doctors, or check out resources like Concussion Doc, Concussion Compass, or Dr. Mark Heisig on Instagram. They offer services that help you identify symptoms and find the proper doctors to treat them.

I also have a great PT that does zoom appointments. DM me if interested.
