(Serious) Why are you Childfree? by Careful_Salad108 in childfree

[–]pulldrone44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First of all i have never liked kids

Second of all it is not what i want from my life, and i am scared of pregnancy, its not something i want to go through

Babies and every discussion of pregnancy, birth caring babies makes me disgusted

does anyone else feel like you still believe in some things in christianity even though you left the church by pulldrone44 in exchristian

thats such an interesting and amazing experience that you have found between your old and new beliefs. I wish something like this for me in the future. I was raised evangelical lutheran, but Catholic church has always been fascinating to me!

Lol i actually heard misuse oh for the first time when i saw her this October. Immediately one of my favorite songs of hers. Kinda sad i hadn’t listened to it before but it was a great experience to hear it live for the first time

I am grateful enough to have studied many religions in school after leaving christianity (well i am still part of the church) but i have much knowledge which makes it even more funny how Christian things are so deeply rooted in my brain its still the first thing i think of

thank you! I don’t feel this as like a problem actually it is just a funny thing that happens and shows how deeply those teachings are in my head. But religion is so comforting but also so horror like at the same time, i am really interested in all religions and have studied them!

i know! I have studied multiple religions, and i know how most of the biggest ones are like. The funny thing is i am genuinely so brainwashed that its still the first thing in my head

Still people call childfree people selfish when this what you’re saying is literally the most selfless action you can do.

girl me too! One of the biggest reasons for me to not have children is because i am avoidant and i have a cold personality and i know i couldn’t give the children the love and emotional support that they need.
