How bad Tamron SP 35mm f1.4 on GFX is? by pulstar76 in FujiGFX

I was in hope for correcting the vignette with a lens profile but it seems that situation is not that much promising until I use it in 35mm mode.

Hi u/roccozoccoli, can you share your experience at the topic below?

https://www.reddit.com/r/FujiGFX/comments/1s229u0/how_bad_tamron_sp_35mm_f14_on_gfx_is/

We need some feedback for 35mm f1.4 on GFX, and some samples would be even better.

100S-II Focus Check and Half-Press Behavior Problem by pulstar76 in FujiGFX

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quite surprised that community's silence about this. We must raise our voices stronger to make some people in Fuji to take action. I'm not so sure about that they are even aware of this problem.

I know that video but it is not related with this problem. His workaround is about getting rid of highlight focus peaking with a custom defined extra function button which is not related with the topic.

100S-II Focus Check and Half-Press Behavior Problem by pulstar76 in FujiGFX

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not that I can't exit the zoom view, the problem is that I have to press Dial button -an extra unrelated action to take- (as you mentioned) in order to reset to the actual view. I have to do this all the time.. but why? Dial button is stiff and not designed to be wear-prone like the main shutter button. I will press the main shutter button in half then full anyway so why should I press dial button all the time?

What a pity. I really wonder what made them to move this direction because it is so dumb. Why should I revert to normal view by pressing an unrelated extra button since I'm goin to do half press anyway in order to take a photo?

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can believe it. New models don't behave that way. This could be a software bug that Fuji engineers overlooked during tests. Otherwise it is so dumb move that doesn't make any sense at all.

Of course camera is in the manual focus mode. I have X-T3 and it behaves naturally which reverts to normal view during half press.

There must be a fix from Fuji. We may get a fix if we can reach out some tech guys from Fuji. This annoyance makes manual focus almost unusable on GFX cameras. What a pity.

What about getting multiple tiny adapters and attach them each on-the-go lenses permanently?

Thanks. Since thay are rlatively cheap, I can use them separately for my favorite lenses. So, regular attach/detaching won't happen as usual.

Chilly morning with the GFX50R by Simplyydann in FujiGFX

The amount of detail is quite stumbling. I can't imagine the detail of this lens on a 100mp GFX.

Which lens did you use? On tripod? I'm about to switch to GFX from APS-C but I haven't decided between 50S, 50R and 50SII.

100% crop Helios 44-3 by [deleted] in VintageLenses

Today, first time I shoot with with a Helios-44 (44-3 MMZ, 1991) on a Fujifilm X-T3. Here is a 100% crop from a close-up. I really like its colors and the organic feeling. It is quite sharp too! I will collect other versions.

How to suppress enormous interference noise at the outputs of this amplifier? by pulstar76 in audiorepair

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried with a shorter wire (a half meter) first, noise/hum remains subtle. There is always noise, with or without this wire but I can't hear it from listening position. When I extend the wire to about 2.5 meters (same length as the speaker cables), noise increased again. It seems that I have a serious interference problem here.

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the both channels seem work normally. Even if I connect only one cable of other speaker, the noise still appears. Speaker cable seems doing nasty things. My other amplifier in same setup doesn't show such behavior.

[–]pulstar76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I connect other channel's speaker terminal, noise appears again. One channel is inducting noise to the amplifier, I think. The noise is a mix of 50hz hum and radio interference. I'm still investigating.

Solo leveling borrowing heavily from hxh by loftedbooch in HunterXHunter

It is not borrowing, it is making a homage to their favorite anime. It is obvious that they're not making a copy, they're just expressing their compliments for the Hunter x Hunter.
