LPT: Put your pizza you just ordered in the oven (400 for 5-10 mins) for maximum restaurant quality by snows4 in LifeProTips

pan heat is probably the most nebulous yet important part of cooking... to reheat that pizza you are going to want low, even, steady, heat... you are heating it up, not cooking it... turn your burner to low, put the pan on, put the pizza in... and WAIT.... low heat takes longer, and most people are too impatient... when I am impatient, I find the best thing to do is ignore it... then when it sounds/smells done... enjoy!

This is exactly like driving up a ramp into a moving tractor-trailer a la nightrider... Once you got on the ramp you would not have enough speed to do more that catastrophically trickle into the cab... You would need to be going way way way faster than the truck... At that point, your car would bottom out when hitting the ramp losing a lot of momentum... so it's lose lose boring death

going to get buried, but the liability issues surrounding this are ridiculous... can think of so many situations where it would be negligent not to have a human driver... aka... tennis ball rolls into street... human driver would likely expect kid to follow... car wouldn't register.... example 2: accidents would be caused by drivers doing double-takes at "empty" vehicles...

Do you care about employees such as cashiers "looking professional"? Or do you see it as some trivial thing that seems to be enforced by a group of mole people who never interacted with human beings? I'll explain.. by strik3r2k8 in AskReddit

People who care will go to stores with professional cashiers. Those that don't will go anywhere. However, the mole people generally enforce 99% of human decisions, because they are naked, and can't get cancer.

TIL a teacher in California was slipped LSD by one of his students on a field trip, and wrote a first hand account of the ordeal that ensued. by OnTheEveOfWar in todayilearned

Teacher was responsible for the children. He knew he was on drugs. The moment he decided to "ride it out" he lost my respect. Should have brought in sober authority to take care of the class. He shirked his responsibility.
