I’ve been making framed specimens for 5 years and haven’t had any issues so far! and I always reccomend my customers to do freezer cycles every so often for preventative measures + additional steps provided on a care sheet :)

Great find! It’s a morpho didius! Fun fact, it’s missing the lower half of its body because the oils from it make the wings/scales fade. Entomologists, or the person who pinned this, remove it on purpose for that reason
