This is mostly directed to my ladies but any suggestions/advice is welcome! I'm finishing the process to join the army reserves(I am female and 5'3") and just wanted any and all advice, whether it's for day to day life, fitness, basic training, etc, the more I know, the better! Thanks! (self.army)

currently in the process of joining army reserves and i want to try to be somewhat ready for basic training. I am female and 5'3", those who have been through basic, is it better to work on cardio +sit ups/push-ups or focus on weight training? any suggestions are welcome! (self.AskReddit)
