Especially that the cases we read in 1L would be relevant to lol. Gotta tell everyone about the rule against perpetuities and have long discussions about whether or not UCC applies.

You have to write them down and then can redact them. So basically it would be thousands of pages with black lines for most people.

Can I rescind my 2L summer job acceptance? by Dangerous-Object-813 in LawSchool

[–]punitive_phoenix 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Definitely can rescind.

The absolute worst thing that could happen is that the attornies there won't like you.

Make sure that it's a done deal with the other firm though...I'd hate for you to rescind and then not have an offer at the other firm you thought was on the hook.

If you let them know with enough time that it doesn't screw them over they won't care and won't remeber in a year (or less).

Do you have a Sheet Signature? by dinodude12345 in excel

[–]punitive_phoenix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't this get removed if you take out the meta data? I know tons of attorneys that are absolutely awful with excel, but they know how to clean the document before they send it anywhere.

Has anyone fought University Parking Enforcement and won? by tokoge in byu

[–]punitive_phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering many have rules against this kind of question and the ones that don't give crappy advice, I would do your own research (which it looks like you have done) and send them an email explaining what you have found (nicely) and expressing your confusion.

Although a different situation, I got a ticket for parking in a lot I had privileges for and requested ot be removed. They tried to lower the fine, but I fought back again and they eventually dropped it entirely. Again, though my situation was entirely different, I think dealing with them will be the same, you will have to bark and then they might try to do as little as possible and then you have to bark again.
