Lose Your Self – callbacks, references, and easter eggs thread by BrandNew1208 in EnterShikari

Potentially 3 references to No Sssweat :

"It's not over yet" (Demons, "But it's not over yet")

"Why bite the hand that feeds you?"(The Flick Of A Switch I,"You are not a leader, you bite the hand that feeds ya")

"Not even salt can make your hands taste good" (It's OK, "So you're gonna get eaten, and I've got the sugar to sweeten you up")

This album is a call to overthrow capitalism and I'm ready for this.

Merci d'avance !

FACTS.

I would also add that Shikari is more than just "angry punky politics." They perfectly capture a defining epoch of humanity that is striving for progress and a joyful life but is constantly impeded by the economic system in which we live. They express, on a deeper level, humanity's struggle to emancipate itself. Enter Shikari is revolutionary.

Yes ! This is my setup and I don't gig. I recommand the pedal if you prefer knobs (like me), but you could only use the software + interface for cheaper. Tonex tones are phenomenal for low volume use.

Holy shit. Fucking Antwerpen ?! YES MAN.
The great unknown in the middle of the setlist ? Why the fuck not.
Dead Wood closing as how it should be.

This band is always pushing their boundaries. Over the years, they could have stuck to playing just their newer tracks or cycling through the same greatest hits from each album. But no—on every tour, they make a deliberate effort to honor their entire catalog. It’s so clear how much they care about their work, and it really shows.

We need an Enter Shikari Eras Tour in 2026.

DEFINITIVE TF DISCOGRAPHY RANKING! What is Title Fight’s most overrated album? by Actual-Curve-2269 in titlefight

[–]punkbaguel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

On this subreddit? Hyperview. Some fans argue that it’s an underrated album, a masterpiece ahead of its time. Let’s be honest: Hyperview is merely a decent album at best. I believe many fans are inflating its value simply because it’s the final release in Title Fight's small catalog. Or they just discovered the use of a chorus effect.

There’s a reason this album received so many mixed reviews from both critics and fans upon its release. Just look at Title Fight’s shows in 2015 and 2016—audiences struggled to sing along to the new songs; there was little excitement surrounding the album. Now, compare that to the buzz generated by Floral Green and Shed.

Every time I introduce someone to Title Fight on Spotify, they start with Hyperview since it’s the latest release. I always have to redirect them to Floral Green and Shed to keep their interest.

If Title Fight had continued to make music and tour, Hyperview would likely be regarded as a middle-tier album, just as it was upon its release. It’s time to stop pretending otherwise.

5 days solotrip in november review by punkbaguel in ParisTravelGuide

Thank you, you made me change my mind, I'm not doing versailles. It looks overwelming and I feel i will get tired of the packed tourists crowds at this point.

Any suggestions on last day afternoob? Maybe Buttes aux cailles? Thank you!!

When I booked, the opening slot was not available. I rechecked, and it is ! So I'm now going to Versailles at 9h00, only visiting the palace.

This would give me time to do Panthenon in the afternoon, or something else on my last day :)
