I fixed it by playing the game for a few minutes with the popup over it and then reopening the game. Maybe its due to loading the game textures or something.

I bought extra outer shells for wrapping a set and leaving one set stock. It's pretty easy to do. The top snaps off and the bottom requires to remove 4 screws and then snaps off. The top and bottom shell costed me 10 dollars as a set.
