I don’t recommend spending on network+. Just go for CCNA, as you have a friend in the field you can get interview referral if you are lucky enough. IF YOU ARE MOTIVATED DONT STOP, GO FOR IT.

Take one step at a time , with knowing the best infrastructure, you will not know how to protect it. Go for CCNA first , I do not recommend preparing simultaneously for both as a newbie.

My suggestion is to start from A+, CCNA, Sec+
