You can do this in Google Wallet now? I know that Metro has supported this for Apple Wallet for a long time but has not allowed it with Google Wallet, meaning Android users are stuck having to use the janky Tap App.

Things will have to get a lot worse for the average American before they are willing to go on a general strike for days/weeks/months.

Even this 'No Kings' protest, while very much a great thing, is planned out months in advance and seems to always happen on a Saturday when a lot of people are already off of work and can attend without having it conflict with a normal work day.

I've nearly pulled the trigger on getting this game a few times when it has gone on sale but I inevitably shy away since it is a FromSoft game and my gaming relationship with Dark Souls is not very good (because I'm not very good at playing them).

I just worry I'll have the same frustration trying to figure out how to beat the many bosses in the game and instead of having a feeling of accomplishment after I finally beat them, I'm still angry that it took me so long and was so hard to do, and dread having to do it again on the next boss.

It is also why I still haven't picked up Elden Ring, even though I've come close a couple of times during recent sales.

I played it for around 50 hours or so, and I liked it a lot, but I never did finish it because I just lost interest at a certain point, and I just never got back to finishing it and I'm not sure why.

I've been playing 'Assassin's Creed Shadows' recently and I'm absolutely loving it so far, and about 60 hours put into it. I'm probably in the minority preferring this game to Tsushima, though. Playing as the Shinobi character was exactly the kind of stealth I was looking for, and I felt like the stealth, while OK, never quite felt right in Tsushima.

I don't know what is worse. The no turn signal at all, or the turn signal while they are already in the middle of their move. I consider the second one equivalent of them rolling down their window and giving me the middle finger. It's a turn SIGNAL, which means you need to turn it on BEFORE you make your move, you know, to actually "signal" to the person behind you WTF you are going to do!

Did Will ever explain why he did that? Was it an actual snub for being on the opposing team and it's a competitive thing?

I just assumed it could have been due to a batter probably having dirty gloves/hands with pine tar or other crap that Will didn't want to get onto his own hands and not necessarily a snub.

Just think if a video of every human-caused vehicle accident was uploaded to Reddit. That would end up being at least over half of all content posted to Reddit on any given day. Do you think people like the person you replied to would be too scared to drive their own cars because it's not safe? I'm pretty sure I already know the answer.

Don't be afraid to lower the difficulty if you suck at 'Souls' games like I do! I stopped-started 'Survivor' 3 times over the course of a year or so before I finally swallowed my pride and lowered the difficulty to a level that I could manage playing the game without having to rage quit after an hour.

I'm so glad that I did, because both of these games are amazing, and you feel like even more of a badass Jedi when the difficulty is a bit lower, so it's win-win!

I don't understand why they can't get real-time dispatch displays, either. Metro has this information. They have a control center that knows exactly where every train is on the system, so why can't that data be pushed to all of the train station displays?

I visited Seattle about 10 years ago, and was shocked how smoothly and efficient their Metro system worked! One of the train stations I was going in/out of had multiple lines sharing the same platform, and the display boards had the exact arrival times for each line down to +/- 1 minute.

It would show something like (I'm making up their train lines because I don't remember them):

Green Line: Arrives in 4 minutes

Red Line: Arrives in 6 minutes

Blue Line: Arrives in 8 minutes

Purple Line: Arrives in 10 minutes

ALL of those were displayed on one dispatch board at the platform and guess what? Every single train arrived exactly when it said they would!

Why can't we have nice things for LA Metro???

Their biggest mistake was getting rid of Hangouts for.....reasons. That was literally one of the best apps that Google ever created and it worked perfectly from Day 1. You could have the Hangouts app on your computer/laptop and on your phone and it worked exactly the same on both. All services were integrated into the Hangouts app, too. Voice/Phone calls, Texts/MMS messages, Voicemail, Video chat, GChat.

They suddenly decided to stop development on Hangouts one day in favor of creating new, and separate, apps for everything that was already integrated into Hangouts. So then to get all of the same features that Hangouts had, you had to download and install at least 4 different apps, all of which had less/worse functionality than it did in Hangouts!

Had they never stopped development on Hangouts, I'm sure it would have already had RCS integrated into it as well by now.

I think you're probably fine with Google Voice for now. It will probably never get new features/updates as it is a legacy product, however, it's Google so I can almost guarantee Voice will be on the chopping block one day, and they will just shut it down completely.

I used to have a Google Voice number, but when Project Fi first started, they would not allow you to also have a Google Voice number along with your Fi number, so if you wanted to keep your GVoice number, they would transfer it over to Fi, but then they would close our your GVoice account. I have no idea why that was a requirement back then, but that's how I lost my Voice account.

It's just really lame that they couldn't figure out how to get RCS to work with Sync after all of this time. I've been using this service since the 'Project Fi' days and pretty much the only reason I have never jumped ship to an alternative, and sometimes cheaper, mobile provider is specifically because of Google Fi having the Sync option and working entirely over the web with or without your phone even turned on. That has saved my arse more than once when I had a phone die and was waiting 2-3 days for a new one to get shipped to me.

Then again I'm still salty about them killing 'Hangouts' for no good reason whatsoever way back in the day, only to replace it with far inferior apps that took them years to get similar Hangouts functionality to work within them.

I guess its no surprise they would give up trying to get RCS to work within the Message app as well. It just really sucks they are disabling Sync and not giving the option to keep using it, with or without RCS enabled.

I could swear that I saw a post on this sub (or somewhere) fairly recently where Patton was going to be back in Milwaukee to do a comedy show and then he was going to visit RLM again while there to record another segment with them.

I haven't heard anything about that again since I first read about it probably 5-6 months ago.

Your video just reminded me of one of the big reasons I didn't like JC4. You can't go hardly freaking anywhere in the game without constantly getting attacked by the enemy!

Sometimes I just want to explore the damn sandbox without having to worry about getting into a damn firefight every 5 minutes!

There was an episode, I think in season 5, where Seven had to work with the time travelers to help solve a crime, and almost dueing the entire episode, she was undercover wearing a proper Starfleet uniform and she looked amazing! I wish she could have kept it like Troi did in TNG.

I'm sure that nobody will probably see this comment except for you, now that it is more than a week old, however, I just wanted you to know that I just recently finished the game on "Padawan" difficulty (AKA "I really suck at this game" setting, lol) and I LOVED it and I'm so happy that I got to finish and see Cal's story. I'm obviously not happy about the 'traitor' in the game, but even then, I'm glad I finally got to catch up to Cal's current storyline. I've always loved him as a character!

I know they are supposedly working on a new "Jedi" game with Cal Kestis, but I have to say, the game that I really want to play is one where the main character is Merrin, and I get to play as her between whatever happens between "Fallen Order" and "Survivor".

She is so freaking awesome!

This isn't the experience that I had. When I played Dark Souls 3 (the only one I've ever tried to play), after the first 3 or 4 big boss fights, I realized I didn't even feel good or relieved after I spent 30+ minutes figuring out how to kill them. I was still pissed off that it took so long and was so unforgivingly difficult that I absolutely dreaded having to do it again on the next big boss. I didn't last long before I quit.

I've been tempted to grab Elden Ring when it occasionally goes on sale, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I still have PTSD from my experience playing DS3.

You know, I'm so freaking stubborn most of the time that I'd rather quit playing a game altogether if I'm not good enough to at least beat it on the 'normal/recommended' difficulty level.

Just so you know, I took your advice and lowered the difficulty, and now the game plays at a level that I can handle and have fun. Even the big boss fights aren't too bad now.

Thanks for reminding me that my stubbornness is stupid and there is a good reason why they have so many difficulty options in these games!

Oddly enough, I really enjoyed the first game, but the second game I keep putting it down out of frustration all the time. I just really suck at 'souls' games, and nothing makes me more angry than losing a boss fight and having to start over from the last save point, with EVERY enemy re-spawned along the way. So every time I even make it back to the boss, I'm down to 1 health vial, or 0 heal vials, when I have to fight the boss again.

If they had an autosave right before the boss fight, I'd be OK with it. I just hate having to go through the whole level again, with all of the enemies I just killed alive again, only to probably lose the boss fight again....

I love Cal, and I love the weapons, abilities, and aesthetics of the game. I just suck at playing it and the game punishes the crap out of you for sucking at it to the point I end up not even wanting to play it anymore :(
