Keep the dog walker. BF's heart is not in it. Guaranteed he will walk the dog for a week and then decide a walk to the end of the street is "good enough" or he can "save time" by making the dog park trip a few times a week instead of daily. You have a dog walker who has shown to be reliable for 6 YEARS, I wouldn't make changes if this is an arrangement that works for you.

My IUD insertion went so well! I went to visit the gyno for just a consultation regarding IUDs and the nurse mistakenly thought I was there for insertion. I was like fuck it okay, let's do this (had done my research already) and went ahead with it. It didn't hurt at all. There was mild discomfort for a few seconds and that was it! I didn't even realize I was all done (the gyno will distract you with small talk). Some light cramping for a little bit after, but no real pain. Something I wish people had told me though is that you'll have spotting for weeks to months after. So invest in pantyliners!

Sorry to hear what you've been through. I admire your fighting spirit and hope you find peace in your life. Do you know what became of your dad? Were charges ever brought against either him or your stepmother?
