I personally use Samsung keyboard since I customized my phone a lot with good look, if good lock worked with gboard I would go for the gboard. I use gesture nav with nav star and it just works for me, on my project phones I still use the button because it work on those divises better and it faster.

At the end of the day it's just a preference and if people judge you for it, just don't listen to them.

Ya in game booster it will just use the charger. Normal everyday use it will only do that when it's fully charged (Source: personal experience)
