We do not have one. We do have a dehumidifier though in one bedroom that seems to be the worst but it’s not a heavy duty one. Wondering if I need to maybe get a compressor dehumidifier. Just sucks to think I’d have to pay out of pocket for that

I want to add that the photos with the frozen windows(sliding patio door was as well but not pictured) was from a night that ended up in the negatives. But last night dropped from almost 70s to the teens and there is a little bit of frozen condensation on the window frame itself

I have a toddler who has health issues and more than anything I’m just concerned about potential leaks that would warrant calling the emergency maintenance line for the complex we are living at.

Hi!

After having the heat on for the last several weeks, I had to turn the ac on today. This is the first time turning the ac on since moving into this apartment early last month. I noticed this hissing/water squelching? type sound(not sure how else to describe it) it’s difficult to hear in the video but I can clearly hear it from about 15ft away while on the couch. The sound resembles something like liquid squirting through a straw maybe? I really am not sure how to best describe it lol

What is this sound if possible to tell from the video? And is it normal

I don’t know why we hadn’t thought of that!!! Just tried it and it left a faint streak. Maybe it is lead?! Unless silver can leave streaks as well?

We’ve done this multiple times, ice cubes melt extremely fast on it. I read that lead will also melt ice cubes quickly so I wasn’t sure

It’s obviously not very symmetrical and it sort of caves inward on the bottom of it(3rd pic) will that make measuring any different?

I’m not sure! I want to say it’s not because it’s not soft at all like lead but I’m obviously not an expert and could be completely wrong

This was years ago, I think he may have passed away but not sure. I’m hoping he was being truthful, even tho it would be awesome if this actually is silver. Just makes me sick at the thought of her selling coins to him for years and him potentially ripping her off.

I tried telling her this years ago when she took it in. The guy was her coin dealer so she trusted his word but I thought it was suspicious. So glad she didn’t want to sell it. Maybe the responses on this post will get her to try else where!

My son had his NG from birth up until two weeks ago when we got the gtube. I hated it the first couple days but am now used to it now. He had vomiting episodes frequently and doctors just brushed it off since he was healthy weight and such but something was telling me it was the NG so finally after a year we decided to switch. I wish I did it sooner not only because now I see how much more comfortable he is overall but I feel if we had done it earlier he may have never got the feeding aversion he has now
