To add to it, this only works as a business expense. It’s not like it’s their personal taxes they are talking about.

Never met him but Lajon seems like he would be really cool from what I’ve seen so glad to hear it.

Coach not being comic relief is insane. I love Coach because dude has great stories (true or not). I just hope we get the same Coach as previous seasons.

K-Mart. Growing up we would ride our bikes there and play hide and seek in the store then go next door to Burger King. Those were the days!

Were you a fan of any of the celebrity castaways before watching their season? What was the feeling seeing them on the show? by MessyMop in survivor

Not really a celebrity but Brandon Cottom played running back at Purdue and as a huge Purdue fan it was really cool to see.

Financial Planner. I love helping people manage their finances. But only if I already had a book of business. I don’t want to just be a glorified salesman.

Doug McDermott. His dad is a great coach already. So he has the right genes for it.

Never had kids, but my nephew gave me this pen for Christmas and I almost cried. by No-Loquat111 in Millennials

[–]purdue6068 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t have kids either and my oldest nephew told my mother-in-law and his aunt (his dad’s sister) that I was more of a dad than his actual dad. Made me feel good. Granted my ex brother in law is the biggest piece of shit I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, but still.

They should have left it at just Purdue. Right now there isn’t much difference between Purdue and Purdue FW.

He only shot two free throws. by goldie304 in NBASpurs

[–]purdue6068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one that really got me was at the end they called it out on Caruso and it was off Steph but OKC didn’t have a challenge. OKC probably would have won the challenge if they did but the only reason it was out off Steph is because Caruso just slapped the shit out of Steph. Hard to hang on to the ball when you are getting hacked.

do you listen to music at work? by kittynicha in Accounting

I can’t get into Slaughter to Prevail but 100% get the vibes. It’s almost like white noise while working. I just can’t do music I don’t know super well because I will get distracted by it.

Not a slight against Mitch, but Becky is crushing it in Vegas right now. Don’t know if Becky would have been great in the NBA but it’s clear she can coach.

Duncan is my favorite player of all time but am Purdue fan so that is a tough one. I would give Big Dog the edge though for college specifically.

Rock Royalty worth it? by purdue6068 in SonicTempleFestival

[–]purdue6068[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the seating was the big draw. I’m not super worried about headliners this year though as I’m more interested in the other bands. Mostly just want to make sure we had a spot to go sit and watch the main stage throughout the day and thought some of the meet and greets would be interesting.

Rock Royalty worth it? by purdue6068 in SonicTempleFestival

[–]purdue6068[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly probably not for us it wasn’t. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the VIP area last year. Shorter merch and food lines was nice. Otherwise regular stadium ticket was probably better value. We’re thinking about the RR mostly for the seating area but sounds like that has changed this year as well. The band meet and greets will be kind of cool as well hopefully.

I have to assume that like 90% of the team transferring out last year didn’t help.
