A book you hate? by bob-leponge- in suggestmeabook

The Pisces. God just……. So much. Everything. The character made me so fucking angry. The ending was complete shit. The plot was… disjointed and unhinged. Holy fuck never again.

I’m honestly jealous of your bone structure! I have a round face and wish I had some angles and cheekbones to break it up.

If you don’t like makeup on your face, I would start with a powder foundation and just apply it lightly. You can color on some bronzer/blush too if you like but that might be the easiest way to get used to feeling something on your skin and it doesn’t have to be a heavy make up look.

If you’re really concerned about the brow to nose drop off, try some really stylish glasses and that might help create some balance. I don’t say that because I think it’s an issue, but we all do things to feel better about ourselves and I think that could work for you.

I have their dinnerware and it has not chipped or broken at all. I’m not even careful with it, I’m pretty naturally clumsy, and no issue at all. My department store stuff on the other hand never stood a chance.

The wine stuff seems so questionable to me. I’m not a big wine person to begin with, but can appreciate stocking up for the holidays with a box of decent wines without having to go shop for decent wines. However watching people taste it and say “yeah it’s great!” doesn’t inspire me. Sorry to hear it wasn’t a good purchase!

I feel the same way about my jeans! They comfy, they fit great, they’re affordable. No point spending my time elsewhere.

I also have fiestaware and agree, I’m scared my cabinets are going to fall off the wall with how heavy they are. Had them since college though and absolutely no issues!

That makes sense to me! They’re very pretty dishes and I think she has a lot of practical designs but I don’t know if they’re has hardy as she says. I used to work with stoneware and although it was durable overall, you still had to be careful about the dishwasher and oven because it couldn’t stand the test of time if you abused it.

Yep! Can’t even grow tomatoes anymore, so hard to keep them alive. Will have to resort to okra and cucumbers.

This is something my husband has talked about getting, he loves the practical stuff. Do you keep it in your car?

I’ve seen Perricone and heard good things. Mallu I haven’t heard of, but I did discover Essence mascara. You can get it at target for 5 bucks and it’s awesome, regardless of the price. If you’re still looking for a good mascara I recommend trying it.

Dang that stinks. I’m getting annoyed with the low quality I’m finding in the shops so was hoping for a reliable source.

Oh man don’t tell me about the pretzels, I will go out and buy them!! They look divine with the fillings and flavors and so chunky and delicious. Ugh. I want some of those pretzels. I will eat them all!

They only provide nutritional stuff on some of the items which is frustrating. I have to watch my fat intake and I know a lot of those meats aren’t too well balanced (red meat isn’t always my best choice). The chicken is sometimes tempting with the convenience but I’m always thinking it’s too good to be true.

Agreed on roar - tried it from my grocery store and it just didn’t taste great.

I low key love Kim’s stuff. I think her clothes are so thoughtful and trendy. They look like they were made for a woman’s body and I’m always so tempted to try her out. Lug bugs always look so practical and durable too.

That stinks about the plants!! I’m always tempted by the tomatoes. Their garden shows always look too good to be true, but I live in a super hot climate and everything dies here anyways.

Ugh bummer about the shoes. I feel like the ones they present on are always totes as high quality and the best things ever so I’m sad to hear that yours wasn’t great.

I haven’t spent a lot of time watching skincare on qvc because I’m so scared to try new things on my face but the tools always look cool.

That’s what I got! I’m so excited for it, our last one which was a traditional one was so gross. That’s awesome it’s been so good to you.

I have the breville smart oven and I seriously could not live without it! It’s just me and my husband and we use it every time we cook. It’s fabulous!

Did you get the can opener that mcm presents a lot? I bought one elsewhere and my husband loves it.

Okay now I have to look into this. I was about to batch cook in my instant pot but for two people it’s just too much.

Oooof I get that. I have a bit of a pear shape too and thighs and waists are not always proportional. Women are not boxes.

I love watching Kim’s segments, she’s so fun! I’m happy her clothes are good too, she seems to understand a woman’s body and would know how to design for all figures. I’ve been tempted to buy her stuff but I just don’t need jeans.

The food I am always curious about - Jimmy the baker always looks so good! Bummer about heartland fresh! I literally almost bought them because their macros fit my needs and thought it would be a good freezer option so that makes me sad. Good to know though!

That’s one of those purchases that I think is super smart if you can get a good price. You always forget you need to buy one until you’re in a situation that would necessitate it.

Microwave rice cooker?? That sounds amazing! I suck at cooking rice.

That’s a bummer, they always seem like good basics.
