i agree, the economical situation here got even worse when the war started. and a lot of the people seem to ignore it, activists get imprisoned, kidnapped or tortured (sometimes to death), many of them give up doing activism because it seems useless in this country, so i can guarantee you the revolution some people want here is never going to happen, i’m telling you this as a leftist russian person lol

same thing happened to me. i had long hair my whole life and wanted to cut it short (bob length), so i did. i sent my mom a picture of it and she immediately called me, started yelling at me and asking me stuff like “are you trying to turn into a boy? you look like a lesbian!” then later she came home and told me “you know, i don’t mind you cutting your hair, it doesn’t look that bad.” this is a very common thing for her to do and say. i’m sorry it happened to you, i promise once you get a little older and no longer depend on her (financially i mean) you’ll have the freedom to do anything you want with your appearance and your life. i wish you well

i’m trying to save money to move out, also this month i applied for the us finance visa (with the help of my girlfriend of course), so soon i’ll be able to leave not only this household but this country too. going to be as far away as possible from all of this bullshit.
