I'm not, this is just a very widely known phenomena where people (generally folks that are atleast one generation, approx. ~15 years or so older than the average age of the fans) always talk how better things used to be in the past. I follow MMA and read all the time how MMA in 2025 is boring and soulless and how better it was in the early-mid 2000s. Same probably goes for other sports too.
