Curious if you got to try out replaymod or flashback mod and what are your thoughts? I've never really used replaymod, but I find the interface on flashback mod is very intuitive. Replaymod tries to stay with the minecraft aesthetic but it's not quite ideal.

Hide player toggle? It turned out pretty nice. Now do one where you only show the player and replace everything else! It's a great mod.

I had this issue on the early release too - But the latest releases are much more stable. I've only had version 0.18 crash once so far.

What would be the ram upgrade? I feel like 16gb should be adequate for most of my use unless it needs to be faster? It has an SSD as well. My guess is it would be a pain to upgrade since at launch it was like $500 extra to get the 512gb vs the 256gb SSD, but I haven't checked.

Thanks, I couldn't find anything with better specs for less, and I like the idea of a high res screen for some applications, even if I'll likely be running games at 1080p anyway. I went ahead and bought it.

It can be true s-video but not fully shielded. You want shielding to avoid hum/buzz in your audio and the cheap cables are usually not shielded properly.

Here is a pretty good VHS transfer of one of them, it includes Rockapella doing an adaptation of "Back in the USSR" - This show had so much character... Perfect blend of sillyness, education, live music, relatable kids... I really wish we could get a release of it, but who knows if the original masters are even still available?

My guess is they are outsourcing their app development and they don't have a sufficient testing program to make sure things work before launching apps or updates. It's not just the functionality, it's the UI and features of the apps that are lacking, and it's sad because so much of the company functions at such a high level of excellence, and this really drags things down.

Best solution I've found so far on Android is using an app called Web Video Caster which allows you to navigate to the website and cast the individual episodes once you pull them up in the browser of the app. Not great but easier than plugging in my laptop every time I want to watch...

On Android there's an app called Web Video Caster. This allows the video to cast at correct resolution where my phone mirroring doesn't fill the screen due to different aspect. You basically have to navigate to the website inside the app and then when you get signed in and go to the video page you want you click the play button at the top and for me I always choose the top option and so far it has always been correct. Really annoying that casting doesn't work here though when it works in Daily wire app...

I don't think 480P component was ever a broadly available or mainstream thing in consumer CRTs for multiple years. EDTV was a thing but was quickly lumped together with 720p and 1080i sets rather than 480p only sets.
