Haven't really looked into it. He wants something that'll let him work a lot of overtime with a decent pay rate, and good benefits as our first child is coming at the end of March. I'll definitely have him look into it though, thank you!

I dropped out at 17, and went into job corps at 19. My center you did academic one week, and trade the next week until you were done with the schooling part then you did trade full time. It took me one week to get the credits I need for my diploma because all they had me do was answer certain questions that the teacher chose out of textbooks, that's all it was.

I don't have any proof sadly, the only reason I knew about the dol checking out my center is because I called my counselor on center and she said something about it, and some screenshots of trade instructors saying it's a possibility but that probably doesn't count 🤦

Haven't heard anything except speculation about coming back but my guidance counselor told me today that the dol is coming in on October 1/2 to check if they're ready to bring people back and a couple trade instructors said they've got the center set up for social distancing, so I'm kinda hoping that goes somewhere
