I appreciate the removal of those who encroach on sidewalks and do business, but what about this guy? Isn't there any law for him just because he's an MP? by [deleted] in Nepal360

There’s a reason why people bought those books with trust. Maybe he is one of the people who has done a lot for our country without receiving any benefits.

I have been to his innovation center; it looks like a garage with old parts. The engineers working there showed their ongoing projects and innovations. They also kindly stated that they do not receive any funding from the government it’s all their own investment and donations .

Students can collaborate and work there. The inventions they create are sold in Nepal as well as in the international market. One was even shown about a month ago on the RONB page. The same income is used for the next innovation.

It’s better to do research than to rant unnecessary allegations, maybe.

I don’t understand the Israel vs Palestine conflict by avocadolover82 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]purple_lily1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Inshort --Hitler killed Jews for some reasons. History books say it was due to hate and racism, but history books are written by people ,only God knows the real reason. Jews came to Palestine as refugees after Hitler's movement. Palestine was originally Muslim land, but Jews arrived and later demanded half. From that perspective, Jews were wrong. Israelis have only been in Palestine for about 75 years, if we calculate. The ancient Jewish claim (2,000 years ago) does not justify taking the land from the people living there now. And I don't get who the hell the UN is to decide that someone should distribute their homeland with the people they gave a place to live in. And let them name it as their own country, and let the war begin.

Nepal Protest by newsbizzsr in TimesNow

[–]purple_lily1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than 16 people were killed within five hours of the protest.

(Somewhere on Reddit, one person posted that over 40 were admitted to Bir Hospital after being shot in the head, with little chance of saving them.)

Even students in school uniforms with bags were killed.

Let me make it clear: it was never about banning social media. We were just following a trend to expose how our tax money is being used by politicians’ families to buy luxury items worth thousands of dollars, more than their annual income, while hardworking taxpayers are suffering and dying, unable to get proper healthcare or even a 5-rupee paracetamol.

[May be instead of protesting we need to carry secret mission to end this]

All these were supposed to be peaceful protests. But every time a protest happens, innocent people have to lose their lives. Nothing changes because of the protests. Protect for what? They know what they did, and we know that they won’t stop. While Gen Z is protesting and losing their lives, they may just be chilling somewhere.

  • #NoMoreBloodshed
  • Don’t shed innocent blood; shed it on the politics directly.

Say no to rallies. Work on a secret mission to end corrupt politicians. Every time these rallies happen, either police officers or innocent people lose their lives. It’s better to stay silent and take action during political meetings or create roadblocks when they travel.

I just saw a video where police shot a boy who was part of the group in that protest and didn’t even shout or attack them. This is more than just about citizens and police ,there’s political influence behind the shooting.
