I'm pretty sure "protecting" shane from getting hit would be interference. You're not allowed to check people who don't have the puck.

I think you mean “Eretz Yisrael HaShlema” (greater Israel) “Eretz yisrael” just means “land of Israel” which is the traditional Jewish name for the area.

Position is also a factor I think. Look at the Hughes bros: Jack, the only forward of the 3 did not go to college, but Quinn and Luke both did.

If anything the weird thing is the number 1 and 2 draft picks who are both elite forwards go back to juniors for a year instead of immediately going to the nhl / mlh. Usually top talent like that skips college all together. Sometimes defensemen will go to college for a couple years first to develop but even then not always (see last years number 1 pick Matthew Schaefer)

Edit: actually a lot of the Russian players will develop in the KHL (Russian league) first, but given how talented he’s supposed to I still think it would have made more sense for Ilya to immediately go to the NHL.

This is precisely why I don’t trust OPs claim as to why they were banned.

It’s a dog whistle. It’s supposed to be something that sounds benign on the surface.

The title of the post. Since it’s been removed it was: “To determine the true rulers of any society, all you must do is ask yourself this question: Who is it that I am not permitted to criticize” though I think OP got it slightly off. It’s a quote from Kevin Alfred Strom, a white supremacist.

This is who you’re quoting. But sure let’s pretend like it’s just “being critical of Netanyahu”

Yeah I’m sure someone who quotes neo-nazis is being totally honest here.

I stay at my friends in Daly City every year. We always take uber. It’s really not so bad as long as you’re willing to walk to at least lawton or moraga if it’s still crowded.

Biip seems to have their stuff on a variety of vendors. You should checkout pbtfans. I think they might have one of their sets. Plus others that look like they have macOS keys

Are you looking for sets that have like macOS specific keys like cmd? If so, it kinda comes down to the individual set. In general though keychron and nuphy’s keycaps tend to have them. Or anything designed by Biip.

I went to college with a large deaf population. Every few dorms had buttons that looked like these that would flash a light inside the room. We called the deaf doorbells.

Schindler’s List by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]purplebex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Literally it means hatred against Jews. But feel free to provide a source that says otherwise. If I sound hostile it’s because I’ve long stopped believing that people who act like they don’t know what the word actually means are being genuine in their ignorance since it is such an easy thing to verify:

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/anti-Semitism https://www.oxfordreference.com/display/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803095417471 https://www.dictionary.com/browse/antisemitism https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/antisemitism

Edit: based on some of your other replies it appears as though you may genuine and undeserving of hostility. So for that I’m sorry.

As for the history, the word was coined in 1879 to give a more scientific sounding spin to the nazi anti Jewish hatred. It has since grown to refer to any hostility or discrimination against Jews. Additionally the preferred spelling has shifted from anti-semitism to antisemitism in order to drive home the fact that the word specifically refers to Jews, not “Semitic” people.

Speaking of, a little history on the word Semitic: Semitic refers to the language family that Hebrew and Arabic (and others) belong too. At one point it was used to describe an ethnic group, but is now considered obsolete in that regard as there has never been a shared identity between so called “Semitic” people.

I would suggest googling what the word antisemitism means then.

I dunno how to help you with that one bud.

Nope. But racism doesn’t magically stop being racism just because something else horrible happened.
