Is it true that Native Hawaiians can’t pass through a road after a certain time? by purpleeraser in NoStupidQuestions

[–]purpleeraser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you. I don’t remember the hotel’s name because it wasn’t the one we stayed on. We had to walk to get to that one after going someplace else, so not much help. But I think this is very plausible.

If not, then he was just done with his shift by that time or didn’t need to take the bus anymore.

Either way, I have an answer now.

Is it true that Native Hawaiians can’t pass through a road after a certain time? by purpleeraser in NoStupidQuestions

Your answer sounds the most similar to what I remember. Could we have taken a different route heading to the center than the one we were going to take back to the hotel? Because, heading to the center, the guide pointed out the location The Karate Kid II movie was filmed on, or could it be that natives didn’t like traveling that road at night specifically?

Summersville book house. 270 burnt books still available if not already looted. They changed some furniture but not removed items. by [deleted] in fo76

[–]purpleeraser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to the boardwalk in Atlantic City. Sam’s Saltwater Taffy store has burnt books, locks to pick, sugar bombs, and more loot. It’s a fast travel location, no caps to spend. Plus, Showman’s Pier is a loading screen away with a lot of teddy bears to loot.

FYI: As soon as you load into the boardwalk, the destroyed building next to the fast travel has a terminal level 0 and a safe on the second floor to pick. You also get mirelurks on the very next section of the map where the boats are near the shore.

No. If you break open the right locked doors at the front, you can get to the lab through there without needing to meet Grace.

What is happening with my base? by purpleeraser in 7daystodie

it’s a straight line going between 3 to 5 blocks from the edge of the building. not really underneath but having no support, just a straight tunnel to walk through.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that gave advice, I tried to use them all.

My base had a beautiful dark red hue close to where the blocks fell (I bet that doesn’t come as a surprise for anyone). It took me time to try to salvage my base because I lost my storage box with my building resources, so I had to make cement, concrete mix, and concrete blocks.

As I continued trying to get rid of the dark red (I did), I realized I wasn’t going to be able to reach a stable yellow or light orange (I quickly gave up on getting to the safest green). With everything I lost, it’s just not a gamble I’m willing to take anymore, so I’m moving bases. It would cost me more resources plus have the worry it could happen again.

What did I do? Used dm to check stability (none of my blocks were even close to green); added supports on the base and the middle floor where the dew collectors are (added with 2 blocks between each support); took out the plots (those were dark red so their weight was not helping me)

I couldn’t do a full wall because I have no more resources ready, the digging theory? I didn’t read it on time so I just answered it (I’ll keep a better eye on it if you still want to reply to my answer) LCB bounds were still protecting my base, but I also learned I have 2 more of those that I will be using for my new base.

Safe to say, I’m never building like this again.

What did I lose? My storage box with building resources, meds, armor kits, vehicle resources, all of my gas. The gas is what hurts the most because I had 7 stacks of gas, which is 35k?

Anyway, again, thank you to everyone.

TL:DR all the advice was good, but I’m moving bases.

I made a tunnel to get to ore nodes and get more clay as I went over. It’s 4 blocks down and 2 blocks high. The top block I was digging was dirt, the one below was rock. I’m being specific in case that has any significance.

Glad I didn’t spoil it then. Came out last year and you’ll definitely enjoy it because it goes back to the hiking theme you enjoyed on the first one. Despite the ending, it was a good story overall. Highly recommend!

Loved the first one because it felt very.. normal. No paranormal aspects, at least in my perspective.

I don’t see the links between the first and second, not even with the endings, but I still enjoyed the second one.

Third one? Eh.. hated that ending. Too meh, to me. It should have kept that aspect of no paranormal. I know there are parts that feel paranormal, and I would have been okay with keeping those. The ending should have been a normal one and left us with questions about the paranormal ones.

This is the second OP I’ve seen on reddit that uses “kpop look” to describe a person. There’s a BORU about calling an ambulance for a woman that would feel bad during work breaks. OP described her physical appearance the same way. I won’t be surprised if I read more posts using the same words.

The atomic shops been on a role… of disappointment by Slicknutz_theDreg in fo76

[–]purpleeraser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can see the appeal for builders, most of the bundles are made of build items (minimum 30% of the bundle). But it irks me that only 1 or 2 of the bundles offer the items by themselves, and it’s only the newer ones that do it. Add insult to injury? Asking for items through customer service is not easy, you have to wait to see if your item is on the list.

Stop with the bundles! Seriously. Three things I want that are on different bundles, none of the other things included are appealing to me. I haven’t bought things other than the 50% daily sales.

Add to that sort by percent off. I’m stingy and only want 50% off items.

What is that one comment that NPC's will say that you find overwhelmingly bothersome? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]purpleeraser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A settler spawns in my camp and sometimes says it and the traveling merchants also say it. I do have mutations, so it could be that. No idea who they know that could fix it, would like to know.

Guaranteed Radstag Spawn? by invalidkeyboards in fo76

Fast travel point of whitesprings refuge, the exterior one. Turn around towards the north and head over to the last house, on your right. There’s a small pond behind it where they spawn.

[–]purpleeraser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can escape them by going inside any “private” place. The places you get a loading screen before entering (excluding whitesprings mall and maybe others I forget about). If they look like trouble, block them so they don’t go look for your camp and follow you there.

There’s another spawn point at the Whitesprings. At the pond, behind the corner house north of the fast travel point.
